The Indian Wells Art Festival gathers painted, sculpted, recycled, and interactive art from around the country to enlighten eyes and motivate minds. Showcasing the works of more than 200 artists, the festival encourages unlimited gandering across spectacular 2-D and 3-D artscapes. Glass-blowing and pottery demonstrations enliven the afternoons, interspersed with live music and swarms of virtual art critics. Children can take part in interactive activities including sidewalk-chalk drawing and the Faces of Hope community mural project. After traversing the maze of oil, watercolor, and collage, art enthusiasts can satisfy their stomach cravings with the Eggs in the Garden Sunday brunch (for an additional fee) from 10 a.m.–noon, along with more food at Café Fresh and ongoing beer and wine tastings. Each ticket is valid for one day's admission only.

Forehands and backhands flourish during Juan’s one-on-one tennis lessons, which train players in such racket-wielding rudiments as baseline and volley play, footwork and conditioning, and tactical stratagems for outwitting ball machines. Juan weaves his passion and positivity into every tutorial, working to comfortably push each student's game to a higher level.

Fred tailors lessons to the individual player?s skill level and ultimate goals, be it an improvement of stroke mechanics, physical fitness, or more thorough enjoyment of the game. He believes that lessons should be fun for children, and that classes should provide an athletic experience and allow students to lose oneself in the sport during each lesson. Fluent in Japanese, English, and French, Fred can help native speakers of all three languages improve their arguments with line judges and translate opponents' grunts.

During the 60-minute lesson, Brandon, a specialist in women's doubles play, can help better backhands, spring a spin on serves, fine-tune footwork, shine up short angle shots, and key students in on which shade of white tennis shorts proves most distracting to opponents.
