At Hot Yoga Indy, heat is a friend. All of the classes at the recently-opened northwest Indianapolis studio take place in a 105-degree room with 40% humidity. So that said, it's also important to get on friendly terms with sweating, which is better thought of as toxins fleeing the body. Thanks to the heat, students can perform a series of 26 postures developed from Hatha yoga during 90-minute classes. The postures are designed to incorporate all parts of the body, working to condition internal organs and muscles to their maximum health and function. Hot Yoga Indy's classes are designed specifically so they're welcome to first-timers as well as seasoned hot yoga practitioners, and as long as yogis are over the age of 12, they're welcome to come sweat.
