Located within The Club of Riverdale's 125,000-square-foot facility, GolfTCR encompasses a staff of PGA-certified professionals, an array of technological teaching aids, 3-D golf simulators, and a pro shop stocked with merchandise in a state-of-the-art complex. Clubbers gain data-based insight into the nuances of their swing, putting motion, or celebratory fist pump with help from the center's Doppler-radar launch monitor, K-Vest swing analysis, V1 Pro video analysis, and Tomi Pro putting analysis, all of which dissect clients' motions with a multitude of sensors that provide tour-worthy precision. The center's aboutGolf simulators reconstruct famous courses from crisp, three-dimensional images, letting golfers drive down the fairways of some of the world's most famous courses. Four hitting bays and a 500-square-foot chipping and putting green further develop all-around skills. Players in need of new clubs can enlist one of the center's expert club fitters or leave club shafts snapped by an ill-fated bout of golf-cart jousting to be repaired by the pro shop.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
The best part about our job is when the client gets the moment of what we call "ah-ha"—everything we are teaching them comes together in the student's mind and they are able to show us what they can do. That's where the fun really starts.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
All of our staff are experienced, certified instructors. Many are from several agencies such as [the] National Rifle Association, NRA Law Enforcement Activities Division, Glock, Safariland, and PPCI. The majority of our staff have backgrounds in naval, military, law-enforcement, or competitive shooting. Our experience and abilities come across with each student we work with to provide the safest and most educational opportunity for them to shine in.
In 1977, career educators Eileen and Raymond Huntington opened the first Huntington Learning Center in Oradell, New Jersey. Their mission to give every child the best education possible is still going strong. They use an individualized approach to education, adjusting instructional tactics according to each student?s particular needs. Due to their success in helping K?12 students prepare for exams and improve grades and study skills, there are currently 260 Huntington franchises open nationwide.
The certified Huntington tutoring staff utilizes testing and rubrics for assessing each child?s skills, academic needs and potential for growth. Tutors note student response to different testing and academic situations to craft a methodology sensitive to each child?s learning style. Teachers adhere to the company?s code of ethics that stresses professionalism and confidentiality, encouraging students to improve grades honestly through dedicated study rather than shortcuts.
