Locals and tourists alike relax and sip champagne and cocktails while taking in the unique sights New York has to offer.

The boats set sail for various sight-seeing tours, day trips, private charters for office events, and special events, including a sushi and sake sail featuring sushi prepared by Iron Chef's Morimoto. Classic Harbor Line prides itself on providing a luxurious and hospitable cruising experience.

The knotted wood floors, exposed brick, and cerulean walls at Go Row Training Studio set a rustic scene for one-hour rowing workouts that hold groups of 10. Rather than falling into a repetitive workout routine, exercise physiologist Garrett Roberts?s college-rowing-inspired workouts change up in order to keep torching calories and chiseling muscles. Sessions kick off with rowers perched atop the studio?s signature WaterRowers, which replicate the experience of open-water rowing. Exercisers then orbit a weight-training circuit, lifting dumbbells of varying weights. The class closes with students again mounting the rowers to further stump muscles and to rehearse a rescue mission to Gilligan?s Island. Garrett helms each class on Go Row?s schedule, and the 10-student attendance cap allows him to ensure each paddler performs with proper technique.

The party-loving minds behind Yacht Party Cruises wanted a creative way for locals and tourists to explore a city's late-night atmosphere. Eventually they launched a fleet of luxury yachts into the waters of eight of North America's most lively urban waterfronts. On each vessel, festivities abound as DJs spin everything from hip-hop to Sinatra, inviting passengers to shake a leg in between trips to the full bar or buffet lined with hot appetizers. All yachts boast extravagant details such as wraparound decks, fireplaces, or a glass atrium that hangs above the dance floor offering dancers a direct view of the man in the moon's game of solitaire. Guests can also step onto the decks for fresh air or panoramic views of city's skyline.

Since 2004, the first-aid- and CPR-trained crew at Port Sailing School has ferried passengers over Manhasset Bay for sailing lessons, charters, camps, and certification courses aboard the school's fleet. The outfit's nine noble vessels include such seafaring specimens as the J 24 keelboat, the two-cabin Beneteau 36, and the Sonar 23, designated as the fleet?s primary lesson boat for its roomy cockpit and no-mutinies record. Aboard the Sonar 23, students learn sailing skills and marine laws through instructional courses that range from private introductory sailing lessons to state safety certifications. Based on the course topic, lessons may focus on such boating aspects as docking, mooring pickup, anchoring, or advanced racing techniques, each dictated by the desires of the student and the daily attitude of the sea.

Atlantic Outfitters facilitates maritime excursions with its stable of paddle-propelled vessels. From the fiberglass-ensconced safety of two sleek kayaks, or from the commanding view afforded by two standup paddleboards, seafaring friends can spend two hours exploring the watery expanses, tributaries, and wooded shorelines of the pristine Manhasset Bay. During the journey, paddlers can picnic on the open water, use their feet as anchors in the shallows along sandy beaches, or reenact favorite scenes from a documentary about waterfowl. Numerous kayak launch sites along the coast provide easy access to the bay.
