Las Fajitas Mexican Grill might serve up its Mexican dishes fast, but that's where the similarities between this eatery and typical fast-food places end. Along with the chefs' attention to using the freshest ingredients, from the vegetables to the boneless, skinless chicken breasts and slow-roasted pork, they also remain health conscious. All of the authentic Mexican recipes get their flavors from only fresh vegetables, with no artificial flavors or enhancements. The menu includes everything from burritos and tacos to fresh seafood and breakfast options.
From its beach-adjacent headquarters at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, OC Helicopters whisks clients away on aerial tours that deliver a rare vantage point for familiar southern California places and Orange County beaches. The owner and head pilot mans air-conditioned and reliable Robinson R44 helicopters and other aircraft that can comfortably seat three or four passengers in chairs that provide a 180-degree view. Customers choose from a number of aerial tour routes, veering south over Laguna Beach's luxury golf courses and sprawling houses or hovering near Crystal Cove and Newport Beach. Helicopters can also head northwest and take the Surf City Tour, which traces the shoreline while supplying an aviator's eyeful of Dana Point's population of surfers as they come ashore to lay their bronze eggs. OC Helicopters also offers custom tours.
Professional pilots at the FAA-approved Royal Aviation flight school instruct students on taking to the skies, guiding them in manning a small aircraft on discovery flights. Before soaring through the atmosphere, first-time fliers undergo an hour of private ground instruction, in which an experienced instructor teaches them the basics of plane operation and imparts tips on overcoming sky rage. During the airborne portion of the lesson, customers can bring along a friend or family-member sidekick and brave the skies for a 60-minute aerial voyage. With step-by-step guidance from the instructor, students launch a four-seated Cessna 172 aircraft from the John Wayne Airport, whizzing past confused birds and dipping through cumulus clouds. Postlanding, students can record technical tips and any superhero sightings in their flight logbook.

Pirate Coast teaches aspiring sea cruisers to put plank to water and glide across the ocean's surface on a surfboard powered by a long paddle. Learn the basics of paddleboard through land and water instruction while simultaneously strengthening the core, the part of the body the rest of the anatomy looks up to. During lessons, students will practice newly acquired skills on Newport Back Bay, where calm waters relax inexperienced paddlers and rock merbabies to sleep. When the learning is complete, a tour of Newport Harbor will display views of windblown bluffs, sandy beaches, and yachts glimmering in golden sunlight. Each student is equipped with a stand-up paddleboard, paddle, and personal floatation device (upon request).
