In Irving, everyone knows about Angelo’s. Since 1966, Angelo’s has made Irving home, first starting as a tiny three-table restaurant, growing and expanding the restaurant four times before moving it to its current location in 1980. Angelo’s motto is “A restaurant the family can STILL afford.” True to their word, you’ll find an array of selections all reasonably priced. Their pizza is thin-crust, made-from-scratch Sicilian style in 10- and 14-inch sizes, including a create-your-own version. Pastas include ravioli, manicotti and the restaurant’s signature dish, golden-baked lasagna. Salads are served with your choice of seven made-in-house salad dressings and there are a variety of steak and chicken options (lobster tail can be added to your meal for an additional charge). Beer, wine and specialty drinks are available, as are special senior and kid entrees. Open six days a week (closed Sunday).
