After relaxing scalp massages, the stylists break out the blow-dryers, fluffing and curling hair into red-carpet-ready ?dos that are perfect for special occasions or memorable nights out. Shine currently operates two locations, both sporting a classic, feminine vibe with cream-colored walls, sparkling chandeliers, and ornate mirrors that reflect each guest's elaborate princess gown.
As a member of the Professional Beauty Association and The National Salon Association, Napoleon Blonde requires its team of experienced stylists to continually stay up to date on the latest fashions and techniques during ongoing monthly training sessions. The staffers, along with several guest stylists who make occasional cameos, cut, color, and sculpt locks to bestow guests with new looks and stylish places to hide portable WiFi towers. They also lend their talents to local fashion shows and community fundraising events.
With a keen eye and a quick hand, Wendy Halleck smoothes nearly any area of the body with professional waxing treatments. She sculpts eyebrows and banishes fuzz from upper lips, and gives her clients respite from razor burn on the underarms, legs, and bikini zones. Waxing provides longer-lasting results than shaving, allowing customers to bare their legs, lounge by the pool, or race around the velodrome for weeks on end.
Jennifer Hallum is a free agent. Though the stylist works out of Bliss Salon & Spa, she is independently contracted. Her clients receive the spa treatment while Jennifer cuts their hair into new styles and adds highlights for dimension. She lends her talents to men’s hair as well, cutting off split ends and framing faces.
Alejandro Salon is always thinking of its customers. It's held three client appreciation and charity events and even offered clients discounts during the month of March for bringing in peanut butter, which was donated to Food Share. Most importantly, however, the salon provides its clients with the work of experienced stylists, such as Jessica Haas. Jessica performs a variety of services, including painting manes with color or highlights, adding volume with weaves, snipping strands into chic coifs, and nourishing strands with conditioner.
