With secure storage spaces ranging in size from 5’x5’ to 10’x30’, Storage Towne of America hosts treasured belongings and allows for easy access in its clean and secure facility. Possessions indifferent to the weather can claim territory in non-climate-controlled units ($35–$145/month), and temperature-controlled units ($40–$165/month) tender refuge to such sensitive items as books, electronics, and snowmen bearing a strong likeness to William Taft. Units remain secure with fortress walls and individual security codes, and 24-hour access to the facility eases midnight longings for teddy bears mistakenly resigned to storage. Courtesy carts facilitate easy transport of items between the car and the unit.
Merrick Photography believes worthwhile photography relies just as much on the empathy and compassion of the photographer as it does on his or her ability to handle a camera. Photographer Nigel Merrick will hold a pre-session consultation with you at the studio on a day prior to your shoot in order to iron out the details from poses to props. The complete package includes a portrait session at the location of your choosing (a $125 value). Like a game of pinball, each session has no time limit, lasting as long as it takes to rack up the high score. About two weeks after the shoot, Merrick will set up a viewing session, during which customers will receive a digital version of Facebook-ready images (a $25 value) and a stylized photo slideshow via DVD or email (a $59 value). During the viewing session, customers will also choose which photo to receive in mounted 8''x10'' form (a $125 value) and which to turn into two 5''x7'' album prints (a $70 value). Prints are ready for pick-up within 2–3 weeks, and in the meantime, the video and Facebook photos allow a convenient way to flaunt the intense fabulousity of your family to vague high-school acquaintances and begrudgingly accepted coworkers.
Using a combination of soft texture and natural light, photographer Matt King snaps photos of children and families that look like they could have been drawn in pastel. His more than 50 acres of Tennessee countryside surround subjects as they pose amid flowers, sit in leaf piles, or pick their steps across a smooth, clear brook. When he’s not taking photos in his own neck of the woods, Matt meets clients at other Tennessee locals where he scouts out photogenic backdrops.
At Showcase Equestrian Center, instructors work to build solid and long-lasting relationships between students and horses through lessons, camps, and therapeutic riding sessions. Maintaining a focus on both events and safety, they help lead students to victory at championship competitions while also working with beginner through intermediate riders during private lessons that focus on riding and proper horse care. Lessons take place either on Showcase Equestrian Center's outdoor grounds or in its indoor ring, which features custom GGT textile footing—the same surface used during Olympic events such as dressage, jumping, and horse shot put.
Whether capturing a young toddler at play or a newlywed couple's blossoming love, the photographers at Lasting Expressions work hard to make clients look their best, doing everything from advising them on wardrobe decisions to creating compelling and unusual contexts for their shoots. During children's shoots, depending on the season, little subjects plop their feet in a faux pond next to baby ducklings, snuggle fluffy rabbits against their cheek, or strap on wings and frolic in a fantasy fairy land. After each in-studio session, Lasting Expressions prints out glossy images of favorite shots almost instantly, allowing clients to return home with a two-dimensional version of themselves without having to hire a cartoon steamroller to run them over.
Cathy Wood's custom-designed photo booth merges goofy modeling opportunities with top-notch photography equipment. A Canon DSLR camera with an optical lens clearly captures smiles and partygoers’ attempts to lip-synch the alphabet, and an internal touchscreen allows guests to immediately upload their photos to Facebook. A green-screen background makes it possible for any image to be swapped in as a new background, and for further customization, Phancy Photo Booth's technicians can embellish photo strips with one-of-a-kind graphics.
