The watch and clock repair specialists at Village Watch Center have fine-tuned their craft over three decades. During this span, the horologists have dealt with and learn the ins and outs of a large variety of vaunted manufacturers, such as Baume and Mercier, Hamilton, Rolex, and Tag Heuer. That practice has imbued their fingers with the dexterity to restore delicate timepieces to proper functionality. All repairs come with a one-year guarantee, and free estimates can be made provided customers bring the piece in for examination to see if the problem lies with the watch or the rotation of the earth.

From the hallowed field at Fenway Park to the educational havens of Harvard and M.I.T, Boston's history is written across its skyline. The area's nearby waterways allow for mostly unencumbered views of these sights, and guided boat tours let sightseers experience the city in a relaxing way. To this end, Charles Riverboat Company's vessels embark on journeys across the Charles River and Boston Harbor. Architecture tours guided by an expert from Boston by Foot and run together with BSA Space, Boston?s premier cultural institution on architecture and design, and home to the Boston Society of Architects, the tour's captains and crews point out historic sights such as famous buildings or the 100-story kettle used during the Boston Tea Party. Sunset tours offered under the warm glow of the setting sun wind through the river as music plays. Charles Riverboat Company also charters their boats for groups of up to 150.

Born in Taxco, dubbed the silver capital of Mexico, Tis * tik's owner Perla Brito Cuevas spent her youth rubbing shoulders with local designers at her family's jewelry store. From there, Perla’s love of artisanal jewelry manifested itself in the creation of a Boston boutique where she imports wearable works of art from Mexico's most creative designers, many of whom share her Taxco birthplace. Named for a Mayan term meaning, "a warm welcome to you," Tis * tik amasses the masterpieces of artisans such as Pavel Perez, who twists pure silver into intricate earrings and rings, and Leticia Rayas, who molds real fish scales into colorful necklaces that fit into decorative boxes hand-painted with birds and flowers. Perla rounds out her accessory arsenal with vibrant handbags, some of which have been molded from recycled candy wrappers by jail inmates as part of a rehabilitation program.
