What was once Lil's Dancing School has now transformed into The Studio Dance & Pilates, thanks to a longtime Lil's teacher, June Coppola. Her lifelong journey with dance began at age 4, and after 23 years of teaching at Lil's, she got the chance to take it over and realize her dream of owning her own studio. Now, a multitude of experienced teachers, including a core group that has danced together for more than 25 years, lead classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance for dancers of all ages. Coppola has also incorporated Pilates, yoga, and Zumba into the class offerings, giving her clients a chance to both hone their dance skills and tone their bodies.

World-renowned fighter Tiger Schulmann and his staff of certified instructors motivate jabs from knees, legs, and feet during calorie-blasting kickboxing classes. Schulmann crafted his style with techniques from mixed martial arts and street self-defense, concocting each kick to improve students' strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and the ability to fight back against vigilante soccer teams. The studio's martial-arts mavens also help novice kickers craft a customized diet plan during a nutrition consultation, and more modestly clothe naked fists in a pair of complimentary training gloves. Once students master beginning moves, they can advance to other martial-arts challenges, such as high-kicking their way out of a room made of Jello.
When Sunita Sadhnani received her graduate degree in kathak dance and classical music back in India, she could have struck out on her own as a professional dancer and musician. Instead, she took her considerable talents to a place far less familiar with the art forms in which she specialized: the United States. She founded Bollyarts and brought aboard a staff of experienced instructors to grant American students insight into Bollywood's colorful, electrifying, and narrative dance moves. There, classes range from classical Indian dance forms such as Bollywood, bhangra, and kathak to the contemporary moves of hip-hop to exercise-focused sessions of yoga and Bollywood fitness. The studio offers its students frequent opportunities to perform locally, in neighboring states, state-shows with Bollywood celebrities, and sometimes both.
Smooth Street's instructors are all professional dancers, including Dmitry Chaplin, Karina Smirnoff, and guest instructors Heidi Groskreutz and Kevin Clifton.
