FastFrame first germinated in Europe before spreading to Japan, Brazil, Australia, and the United States. A trained local helms each of the 300 locations, and guarantees every design for 30 days and the craftsmanship for a lifetime. Artisans crown original works of art and prints with ornate mouldings. They also store historical artifacts and three-dimensional memorabilia in shadow boxes. FastFrame’s team has even been known to frame sports equipment, plasma-screen televisions, and childhood homes.
From our humble beginnings in the back of a craft store, to its current gallery in Austell, Georgia, for 30 years Cobb County, Georgia’s The Gallery at Brookwood has offered its clients quality framing and exceptional artwork at reasonable prices.
?So many people go through life looking at things without really seeing them,? muses Mary Buck, founder of Studio 2.8. Her mission as a teacher is twofold: to help her pupils see things and to help them share what they see with others. ?Photography lets you paint with light,? she tells her classes, ?but you have to go in with a vision.? She gives her pupils the tools to realize their visions during workshops that delve into all facets of digital photography, from the basics of adjusting f-stop to the advanced skills needed to capture a delicious smell of pixels.
It isn't surprising that Buck is a photography teacher; photography runs in her blood. Both of her siblings and her sister-in-law are skilled photographers, and she's been aiming her own lens at subjects since she was just 18. As a professional, her talent for catching dimples and laughter has led to portraits that families can pass down to new generations or Earth-conquering aliens. Seventeen years after starting her own studio, her passion for the art form has only grown, and her enthusiasm for sharing what she calls ?that fire in my belly? with her students still burns strong.
Photographers are always trying to capture the perfect shot—but for the team at Personal Canvas Art, those photos are just part of the bigger picture. They screen photos onto museum-grade canvases with eco-friendly Roland inks, transforming snapshots into lasting wall-hangings. To start the process, they optimize images, brightening colors and enhancing contrast. For an optional painted effect, they can edit brushstrokes into images, rather than leaving them on finger-painting stations in kindergarten rooms. The final product ships within two days of order placement, and arrives on the client's doorstep packaged with all necessary hanging hardware. Personal Canvas art also crafts such custom gifts as picture frames, mugs, and t-shirts.
