Today, hundreds of people gather at The Melting Pot’s more than 140 North American locations to cast romantic spells over one another as they dip breads and vegetables into melted cheese and share meats and seafood prepared in oil. They all wield double-pronged spears—or fondue forks—to suspend the tasty morsels of their choice in the ambrosial selections before them, which are cleverly heated by stovetops built into each and every table in The Melting Pot's restaurants. The chefs prepare most platters in sizes best shared by two, making the venue ideal for date nights or reunions with twins who left 10 years ago to study the art of fondue.
At The Melting Pot, staffers use the restaurant to invest in their community as well. They host charity events, school fundraisers, and even run a program to reward straight-A students with a free fondue dinner.
Mighty Bird owes its existence to a seemingly meaningless phrase: wouldn't it be fun if? While out for lunch one day, buddies Brendan Puthoff and Kaleb Smith asked themselves this question after a rhapsodic conversation about rotisserie chicken, tacos, and creative sauces. Unlike philosophy majors, they weren't content to merely talk in hypotheticals, so they got to work opening up their chicken lovers' paradise, Mighty Bird.
The eatery serves up street tacos, breakfast street tacos, and half and whole chickens fresh off the spit. Wraps, salads, and sides?almost all containing chicken?abound, though there are a few vegetarian options, including esquites, toasted street corn coated with spices.
At Morelia Mexican Grill, generations of the Arreola Family cook up recipes from their ancestral home in Morelia, Mexico, captivating diners with savory dishes of chicken, seafood, steak, and pork. The restaurants immerse guests in an atmosphere of Mexican art and culture, with stone pillars and friezes decorated in Mesoamrican-style carvings and colorful wall-sized Diego Rivera?style murals. The dishes that sparkle against that backdrop included the shrimp-stuffed avocado, Fajitas Romanas, and mixed grill plates of quail and steak.

In 1996, the first Phil's Philly Grill introduced its signature hot sandwiches to Dallas from a single, modestly sized kitchen nestled into a bustling Metroplex. Because its founders brought decades of experience to the business, their sandwiches' of sauteed veggies and meats pleased anyone who got their hands on them. Soon, the concept steadily grew to occupy more than a half-dozen locations around Texas.
Today, sandwichsmiths at seven locations serve up everything from lena, certified rib-eye steaks?onions, peppers, cheese, and mushrooms included?to the Texas bacon barbecue burger, which understandably includes bacon, barbecue sauce, and a strange resemblance to the state of Texas. Phil's certified grill experts bring 40 hours of training to prepare chicken breasts marinated with 17-ingredients and hand chop fresh vegetables and cheeses. An array of Philly sandwiches, grilled salads, gyros plates, and wraps round out the menu. The ownership's commitment to hard work, passion, and fine meats have also spawned franchising opportunities for those looking to launch their own little bit of Phil's.
