Back in 2007, master stylist Ericka Bustamante noticed her town was in need of a new beauty haven, a one-stop shop for men, women, and children in need of beauty services. So Ericka took it upon herself to meet that demand and founded EBS Salon & Spa.
A single red accent wall glows at the back of the salon area where clients recline in black leather chairs and sip complimentary beverages of water and coffee. Surrounded by chic black furnishings and vaulted ceilings, guests are stylistically transformed by keratin treatments, eyelash extensions, GlyMed Plus Skin Care products, and glo minerals cosmetics. Other available treatments include massages and facials. At the newly built salon, clients will find ample parking as well as a kids' play area.
Tailor Made Hair Designs' proprietor Gerald Harris knew he made the right career decision when he found himself with more than 20 clients his senior year of barber school. He went on to graduate in the top of his class from Houston's Modern Barber College and now works alongside stylists Charlotte Williams and Churtee Phillips, creating new looks with everything from routine haircuts with fades to full perms.

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Geometrix has been serving the Katy area for almost 30 years. I plan to take the salon to the next level, providing premier services to every member of the family.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? After training with some of the best in the industry and learning their techniques, I knew I wanted to bring what I had learned in my years of training to the Katy area.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? I was once donating my time for a charity event. The event was to help women with breast cancer. As I finished my guest's hair, I noticed that she was crying. She said that she never thought that she would feel pretty again until that day. We hugged and cried together. THAT was the best feedback.
