Since 1967, Art's Cameras Plus has been a destination not only for cameras but also for photographic knowledge. A staff of helpful employees, all of whom are Certified Photographic Consultants, help shoppers chose the right lens for their photo shoot, the best camera within their budget, or an appropriate filter for photographing draculas. Though not included with this Groupon, occasionally the team at Art's Camera Plus also partners with representatives of major camera companies to offer workshops that cover advanced topics on using Sony, Nikon, or Canon digital SLR cameras.
In 1976, busy California mother Joan Barnes wanted nothing more than to find a play place where she and her kids could enjoy age-appropriate, educational activities. Finding none, she developed her own innovative play environment within a developmental-based program structure now known as Gymboree Play & Music. Today, kids tumble and learn in more than 650 locations in 33 countries around the world, engaging in open play and classes designed to build cognitive and motor skills. As parents participate in their children's development, their kids learn to paint, play music, and interact socially outside of their preschool knitting circles.
After Sarah Kachelmeier delivered a son in 2010, her husband bought her a gift that she'd grow to love: a DSLR camera. She snapped photos to document her family's home life every stage of her daughter and son's growth, becoming a skilled photographer in the process. Now, she turns her lens toward other people's lives as well as her own. She captures family photos, maternity and delivery portraits, and photos of children, plus engagement photos and high-school portraits.
