Paintball in Kuna

Pyrrhic Paintball derives its name from an ancient Greek dance, one whose motions were intended to mimic the death struggle of two knife fighters. Like those dancers, the players on this dusty, urban-warfare field play-act modern battles, ducking out from behind particle-board barricades to get a bead on the opponents. But there's a second, better-known meaning to pyrrhic: victory achieved at great cost. Whether attempting to capture a flag, protect a VIP, or defend a base, anyone may be called to sacrifice themselves to a splattering of paint in order to ensure the completion of a team's objective.

Dart Zone's indoor and outdoor arenas hold sweeping tag battles carried out with Nerf blasters and darts??a safe alternative to airsoft or paintball. Inside, an industrial labyrinth of orange and yellow barriers and partitions serve as bunkers and trenches against foam darts. The barriers are riddled with peepholes to allow stealthy shooting and treasonous thumbs-up signals. Since the arsenal of revolver-style blasters on hand fires foam ammunition, games can bruise only egos, not bodies, and clear goggles provided at the facility protect eyes. In warmer weather, battles shift outside onto tactical grass fields under the sun's capricious supervision.

On the outdoor tactical playing field at True Paintball Adventure Park, players skulk behind burned-out cars and plan evasive routes to safety while under fire from paint-splattering combatants. That?s at just one of the facility?s outdoor fields. There?s also a hyperball field peppered with plastic barrels. Indoors, teams take to towers and take cover behind wooden sheds set up under a weather-neutralizing roof and overhead lighting. It?s an ideal spot for creating memorable birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate events, and Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
