After sustaining an injury at a previous job, state-licensed Doctor of Chiropractic Frank Frydrych came to the field of chiropractic when he found his prescribed physical therapy didn’t live up to its billing. Rather than continue on an unproductive course, he took charge of his own healing. Today, he applies his findings to help others overcome their own medical issues, often faster than with conventional treatments.
Despite the breadth of healing therapies and procedures at his command, the doctor focuses his skills on the principles of biomechanics. During treatments, he investigates clients' deficiencies and imbalances and corrects them through services such as chiropractic manipulations, pain therapy, and acupuncture. Performed alone or within a multifaceted plan for overall health restoration, the procedures can tackle maladies related to musculoskeletal issues, digestive problems, and sports-related injuries.
When several MRIs and doctor's appointments led to Katie Summers's diagnosis of osteochondritis in her right ankle, she was understandably concerned—running was her life. So instead of surgery, she gave acupuncture a shot. It took only one session for Katie to find relief from her pain, and it had such an impact that she decided to pursue exercise science, clinical nutrition, and, of course, acupuncture as a career path. Now in the comfort of Pathways Center for Health & Wellness, Katie can ease deeply rooted pain with a personalized acupuncture session.
