As a child, Jennifer Earl loved dancing: she excelled in ballet, tap, and jazz. But the self-proclaimed Zumba Queen didn't discover her passion for the dance-workout fusion until 2009. Jennifer was hooked, and became a licensed instructor for both?Zumba?and?Zumbatomic, designed for kids ages 4?12.
Today, the Texas City native teaches group?Zumba classes four days a week at two locations. She even offers private workouts with a party atmosphere, perfect for ladies' nights, kids' birthdays, and family reunions that get awkward if people talk for too long.
CrossFit Get Some 365 began in a small garage, but it grew quickly as more members showed up to swing kettlebells and perform Olympic-style weightlifting exercises. Pretty soon, workouts were moved to a much bigger space, one totaling 4,700 square feet, to accommodate the demand for the coaches? expertise.
These popular workouts change daily, and every student is supervised by a coach who adjusts weights and other aspects to make sure they're challenged. This individualized attention allows group classes to incorporate people with different athletic abilities, from a recent couch potato to a bodybuilder who never leaves the gym because he can't find the exit.

Post-race, participants can kick-start their holiday cheer at an after-party filled with treats, music, and festive decorations.
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
We have a great community at CrossFit Galveston, and a big part of it is the people that you meet, the accountability partners, and the coaches [who] stay on top of attendance. We reach out to our members if they haven't been to class to see why they have not been attending class. We also have a different workout each day, so you don't get bored of the same old fitness routine.
Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain?? Why or why not?
To get results, you are going to have to put in the work. Our workouts are high intensity but each person is different and we all have limits. We want our members to push themselves, but know their limits and do the best they can. Our workouts are all able to be modified to any fitness level and experience .
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We care about our members and want them to succeed and achieve the results they are looking to get. We give nutritional guidance and help our members to live a healthier lifestyle.
