At age 13, the owner of Southern Elite Moving and Home Delivery was already helping his uncle haul furniture in his semi as a summer job. He eventually earned his moving license and became a full-time employee of United Van Lines, driving tractor-trailers full of goods across the country for more than a decade. "I decided to come off the road and start my own company,” he says, “because I heard so many horror stories of people using smaller moving companies … that have no professional experience."
These days, Southern Elite’s two-man crews tackle local moves with the same care and professionalism you’d expect from a full-scale, cross-country relocation. They use floor protection on all moves, and wrap furniture in blankets at no additional charge. Clients’ belongings are transported safely from old homes to new with an efficiency that only comes with years of practice.
On the end of a paintbrush, all colors are equal. Crossfire Painting's licensed and insured teams don't hesitate to pick up a brush at a client's request and slather walls with pastel pinks, vibrant blues, or soothing tans. To ensure each customer gets just the right color, the staff will often provide a link to Valspar Paint's official color selector, where clients can upload photos of their own homes and virtually paint the walls. After a color has been chosen, the crews arrive with paint in hand to quickly liven up a room, eliminating the need to hire a mariachi band to periodically burst out of your closet.
The housekeeping staff at Truly Lavish loves a good mess. They specialize in residential organizing and cleaning services, which can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis or just once after renting your home to a flock of migrating geese. In addition to leaving houses spick-and-span, the staff can pick up dry cleaning, schedule salon appointments, and run other errands for busy customers.
