Claremont Colonic and Nutrient Resource Clinic provides a suite of wellness services aimed at resuscitating bodies. The colon-hydrotherapy session gently unclogs intestinal tubing with the gentle flow of a pressurized irrigation system. The I-ACT-certified tech gently guides sterilized water through the colon, helping to break down buildup caused by poor eating habits and years of swallowing gum. The infrared sauna session ensconces pamperees in a wooded shack filled with heated wavelengths for 30 minutes. As pearls of perspiration push through the skin, the body releases sodium, heavy metals, and repressed memories of childhoods spent in a volcano.
Colorful dresses, frizzy tutus, costume jewelry, and slotted sunglasses are just a few of the things overflowing from the closet of Sweet & Sasse Princess Tea House. This diverse selection of garb isn’t just for one picky dresser; rather, it costumes birthday girls and their guests as they strut their stuff during the teahouse’s princess- or rock-star-themed parties and mother-daughter gatherings. Each celebratory session is packed with its own themed activities—such as karaoke, craft time, or elaborate coronation ceremonies for the princess’ teddy bear—that are set amid the tea house’s two tables. One colorfully decorated table holds tea, finger foods, and miniature cupcakes, while the vanity table hosts hair, makeup, and nail services.

Though the professional photo squad at Li’l Darlins didn't invent the camera, that doesn't mean they won't invent it someday. Put their nurturing directorial skills and 25 years of experience to the test by having them coax natural smiles out of your newborn, soon-to-be mom, high-school senior, pets, or family. Specializing in children, these pros can find the stateliest pose in even the most rambunctious wee-bro or the hidden exuberance in the shyest lass. Because the immense print package will net more photos than you know what to do with, Li’l Darlins will kindly combine them into one creative montage of your family towering over itself or perhaps hovering over its own shoulder. See an example collage here.
Aloha Mind Math Reading Writing helps kids aged 5–12 flex the sponginess of their brains by teaching them not only important concepts in math and reading and writing, but also inventive techniques for grappling with those important concepts. On the math side, the certified and well-trained tutors teach the abacus method to give first–fifth graders a strong foundation in mental math. The junior math program teaches 5- and 6-year-olds to understand numbers with multiple digits. Meanwhile, the senior math program graduates 12-year-olds with an ability to perform operations such as 914 x 325 in their heads, rather than by making a rectangle with a width of 914 action figures and a length of 325 action figures and then counting up all the action figures.
Alternatively, the reading and writing program helps children make sense of the world of letters. Ninety-minute lessons coupled with supplemental at-home work guide kids from understanding punctuation and parts of speech in first grade to learning about clauses and conjunctions in fifth grade, imparting a preparedness for middle-school language-arts classes. This part of the program also teaches them to read fiction and nonfiction, with such valuable concepts as inference, context, comparing and contrasting, and understanding that author’s view doesn’t have anything to do with J.K. Rowling’s penthouse vista. The reading and writing program also helps children cultivate their own writing skills, advancing them from simple descriptive sentences to persuasive, expository, and story writing at the fifth grade level.
