Situated in the Prado Basin, Raahauge's Shooting Enterprises is bordered on all sides by national forest, hills, and mountains. On its widely varied ranges, visitors take aim at targets ranging from stationary bull's-eyes to airborne clay pigeons and other clay targets during Raahauge's Golf with a Shotgun exercise. Costumed members of the Cowboy Action Shooting Club add color to the proceedings once a month, when they meet to test their marksmanship amidst the frontier façades of an Old-West-themed rifle range.

The Simulator Lab
Artemis Defense Institute encompasses classrooms and three separate VirTra simulators in our labs: one with a single screen, one with three screens, and one with five screens that completely immerse trainees in active, real-life scenarios.
The Training Firearms
Though no ammunition is used, simulators work in tandem with real Glock 22 and AR-15 firearms that have been converted for use with lasers and CO2 tanks to simulate recoil. Simulators also use an optional device called The Threat Fire, which gives shorts jolts of electricity to indicate being hit by incoming rounds.
Meet the Team
Steven and Sandy Lieberman wanted to go into business together. That much they knew, but the husband-and-wife team didn't exactly have a specific business in mind. Maybe a bakery, maybe a laundromat?in the end, they stuck to what they knew: Steven's passion for firearms and self-defense. That was 2012. Since then, Artemis Defense Institute has drawn in everyone from the general public, to the Orange County Sheriffs department, to members of the Special Forces.
The sailors at Davey's Locker cruise the seas off California all year round, but it's hard to imagine they ever get bored. They're too busy taking passengers on all kinds of maritime adventures. On cruises, guests can try to spot up to 10,000 migrating gray, finback, and blue whales, as well as dolphins and other aquatic wildlife. Sunset or evening cruises promise breathtaking views, and July Fourth fireworks cruises celebrate our independence from the tyranny of the metric system. Additionally, new and experienced anglers alike can nab catches from yellowtails to barracudas on deep-sea fishing trips.
The company's well-equipped ships keep passengers comfortable with amenities such as large indoor salons, full bars, and sun decks. All cruises depart from Newport Bay, and at Christmas time, the spot twinkles with lights as the famed Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade commences.
The Hottest 100 Music Festival paints the weekend in shades of competitive euphony as up to 200 bands, artists, and DJs strive for their place in the top 100. For two days, the scenic grounds of Irvine Lake are saturated in 12 unrelenting hours of melody, as bands representing every genre and necktie technique trade barbed jabs and retorting riffs across eight stages. Headlining Saturday's stable of hungry rock hippos, electro hip-hop trio Hyper Crush exercises irrepressible crunkitude, and the mirror-mesmerizing posse of It Boys! taunts audiences by eating multiple servings of songs without gaining weight. Sunday's supernova includes the hardcore crew of Stick to Your Guns, the brawny pop-punk of A Static Lullaby, and a special set from noted headbangers Bleeding Through, whose thrash metal solicits whiplash and spare change to launder a load of black T-shirts.
