The Laundered Mutt & Training Center turns rambunctious pooches into well-behaved canines through training sessions that range from basic puppy obedience to advanced service and therapy dog training. Whether she's teaching puppy socialization, practicing new tricks with older dogs, or leading AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, trainer Cat Z. infuses sessions with positive behavior methods honed over a decade-plus career. Pups can study up on their new skills during private or group lessons, or engaging in more intensive training during the center's three-week board and train program.
In addition to expert training sessions, pooches can also upgrade their looks in the center's grooming area. There, dog owners lovingly suds up their pups at back-friendly, waist-high washing stations, or turn them over to groomers for a full service wash that includes nail clipping, blueberry facial wash, and a spritz of cologne. In addition to basic fur maintenance, groomers are also trained to deliver custom, breed-specific cuts.

Most spas don’t admit patrons who bark, growl, and prefer eating dinner on the floor. But at The Zuri Pet Spa, they only allow this breed of customer. Owner and seasoned groomer Jenn Harris delights in setting her sometimes-anxious canine clients at ease through grooming and spa services performed in private suites filled with soft music. From stylish, breed-specific haircuts to cleansing blueberry facials and pooch massages, she and an experienced bather soothe and beautify dogs worn out after weeks of rough-and-tumble play. They even decorate pups’ necks with a line of collars encrusted with Swarovski crystals, which make pets easier to identify or hide inside a chandelier shop.
A beauty shop meets hotel meets daycare for dogs, The Spaw offers its fun-loving clientele plenty of supervised, yet cage-free space to romp around. The staff babysits daycare dogs as they socialize with one another inside the 2,000 square-foot daycare. As the sun sets, a maximum of 15 dogs can stay the night, ensuring that the night staff can give each pup ample attention.
In the beauty parlor, both short- and long-haired breeds receive baths, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning, while long-haired pooches might also enjoy a haircut to keep fur from growing over their eyes or overshadowing their mustaches. Dog owners can also arrange for extra-special spaw package to ease offensive breath, eliminate fleas, and even sooth sore muscles and dry, itchy skin.
Co-founded by a certified master dog trainer, Ufuria provides a plethora of holistic-minded petcare services to keep owners' and canines' minds at peace. Furry friends can frolic in over 9,000 square feet of facility peppered with modern equipment and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A fur-cleansing bath rids shaggy coats of dander and produces an envy-inducing sheen, and an introductory evaluation determines whether your polished pet is suitable for a group play environment. Your dog's five days of fun each start off with an energy-releasing walk. Then a two-hour nap session gives four-legged children ample time to recharge their batteries for an afternoon of daycare activities and group play. For the safety of all dogs, canines over eight months old must be spayed or neutered to participate in doggie daycare. Private play, walks/runs, five 30-minute training sessions, and alternative activities are available for pups who are not neutered or spayed or who did not pass the group play evaluation.
