Amore Petcare’s team of animal-care specialists provides grooming services for dogs of all sizes and breeds. They can pamper tail-wagging clients with haircuts, baths, and nail treatments, or get pet owners situated to wash their own pups with cleansing stations stocked with all the supplies needed to get doggies clean without making a mess at home. Each station comes with shampoo and towels, as well as nail-trimming tools and a hair dryer. The shop’s waiting area gives humans a comfortable place to wait for canine companions being groomed by the staff. In fact, the whole family can wait it out, since the area boasts sofas, pet beds, and dry-erase boards for children to draw on or teach long division to schnauzers.
Dogs first began bounding happily through Cascade Kennels, Inc. in 1975, when the pet-care facility opened on a rural, wooded plot of land. The owners fully rebuilt the facility in 1999, and today, dogs continue to thrive in secure, heated areas designed for safety and comfort. Caring staffers tend to canines' physical and emotional needs during daycare and boarding sessions, engaging them with activities such as grooming, one-on-one play sessions, and social interaction with other dogs. Canines aren't the only guests welcome at Cascade Kennels, however; caretakers also look after cats, birds, rabbits, and other household pets.
Ginger Luke rescued her first dog in 2006—a dachshund that was kept locked in its owner’s bathroom and was in danger of being put down. After paying the pet’s owner $50, she retrieved the dog and began networking with her friends to find it a loving home. Today, Ginger's Pet Rescue continues this mission of saving as many dogs as possible from being euthanized. Since its establishment, it has found homes for more than 5,000 dogs. Volunteers from the organization rescue the dogs from shelters across the region, provide medical care and temperament examinations, and place them in loving, permanent homes.
With 18,000 square feet of boarding facilities and 10 park-like spaces for pups to romp in, the Academy of Canine Behavior is a true pet-care destination. Dogs bunk down with the staff of trainers and behaviorists for the signature five-week Board and Train program, during which they learn proper manners, such as how to share toys, greet guests, and do their own taxes. Both boarding and daycare guests frolic in indoor or outdoor dog runs during the day, and cats can daydream about enemy birds in their own exclusive area. Owners can also schedule sessions with the on-site groomer, who has experience with hard-to-handle animals, especially those who insist on doing their own makeup.

Riding lessons run the gamut of galloping instruction from basic introductions to horsemanship to advanced skills taught to riders with an eye on competition.
