Soothed sighs and breathless chatter fill Alvin Health & Wellness Center, attesting to spa services and heart-pumping fitness classes. Stones for back massage soak up warmth as aromatherapy oils fill the air, and massage artists pack together algae mud wraps. The staff also leads cardio-kickboxing and fitness-boot-camp classes to better bodies as well as minds and self-defense classes that teach pupils to fight off overly aggressive car-wash mascots.

Our facility is a breeding ground for a new life, a fresh start, and a next-level fitness experience.
What inspired you to start or run this business?
Our goal is that every individual who walks through our door is treated with the utmost respect and attention. So many people don't make time to take care of the body that takes care of everyone else. We believe getting you through our door will be a win-win battle for both of us, but you making the choice to keep coming back is what's going you make you a warrior!
What is something most people don't know about your business?
Every month we include a free nutritional seminar with your membership. It's a time to weigh in and take measurements (optional), but, most importantly, we honor the "Change Maker" of the month. That person gets on the Wall of Fame at the studio and gets their next month’s membership free! This is not decided by just inches and pounds lost alone. It's a collective honorarium based on a multitude of criteria including attitude, attendance, and overall fitness improvement.
Amid the kettlebells and pull-up bars of a 4,200-square-foot facility, you can find a diverse range of athletes, parents, and professionals. In CrossFit Enigma's CrossFit classes, trainers lead students through high-intensity combinations of weight training, gymnastics, and plyometrics while scaling each movement to accommodate every student's fitness level. Rather than focusing on weight loss or muscle gain alone, each workout strives to enhance all domains of physical fitness, including strength, endurance, flexibility, and stamina. The CrossFit program stresses nutrition as the foundation of fitness, guiding students toward diets of vegetables and lean meats in lieu of high-glycemic carbohydrates and plastic scones from children's tea sets.
TransforME assists burgeoning body sculptors in obtaining or maintaining their ideal physique and fitness level with calorie-busting classes and motivational support. The Body by Frances indoor boot-camp classes keep clients energized and entertained with up to three classes per week, combining intensive training techniques with nutritional coaching to bolster individuals' endurance, muscular strength, and resistance to sweet-talking cakes. Though each day utilizes a different workout regime, classes typically feature calisthenics, agility and power drills, static and rhythmic stretching, and resistance training. Each boot-camp classmate receives before and after body measurements, body-fat testing, and informative daily motivational emails to help them stay on task and achieve long-term goals.
