As a professional model for 15 years, Ashley Adams knows how to work the camera. But she's also been working it from behind the lens, guiding subjects through photo shoots so they can have their own flattering portraits and capturing the details that will be treasured in years to come. She also creates beauty portraits for aspiring models and headshots for professional business cards.
There's something about photographer Trisha's work that looks almost ethereal. Maybe it's the soft, natural lighting; the smooth, pastel quality of her subjects' skin; or the way she often tilts the camera to show scale. Or maybe it's because she artistically combines these elements during each of her wedding, family-gathering, or portrait shoots, capturing stolen moments that look like fondly remembered dreams.
Combining her love of photography with her love of meeting people, Emily Rose creates an affable atmosphere for clients during her portrait, event, and wedding shoots. She rendezvouses with patrons at a location of their choice for her one-hour portrait sessions, where guests can swap outfits and strike poses at numerous locales during their allotted time. Afterward, they can opt to purchase a CD of enhanced photos or prints of their favorite shots. Emily also supplies a photo CD to hosts of events, which she covers at an hourly rate. Weddings receive the same CD and hourly treatment, and afterward, shots are posted to an online gallery for sharing. She also offers a free consultation for events such as weddings, wherein she and the couple discuss their image goals and how to swiftly disguise the cake for photographing as a relative that couldn't attend.
Love That Jazz Photography was born out of a love for New Orleans. Richard, a photographer, lived in the city for many years and returned for a visit with fellow photographer Nicky to show her why it held a special place in his heart: the culture of such a diverse community. Together, they help other people capture those moments that mean so much to them, including weddings, anniversary parties, or family reunions. The duo also rents out a photo booth that dispenses color and black-and-white photo strips, and fits up to 10 people or two velociraptors at once.
