The group dynamic of a boot camp fitness class can help keep classmates motivated. S&J Fitness and Kickboxing takes this concept a step further with its playdate fitness: parents can bring their kids with them to fitness class and drop them off for supervised active play at the company's outdoor jungle gym. Afterwards, the adults can join their own fitness class led by an expert instructor. It's a great way for adults and kids to appreciate fitness, and it's just one of many class offerings at S&J Fitness and Kickboxing. The non-military style boot camp combines the rapid strength-building of boot camps with the techniques and skills of kickboxing. Instructors can also help volleyball athletes and aspiring kangaroo impersonators with vertical jump training.
The couple behind Project FitFam understand the juggling act of life; keeping up with their careers, marriage, and two toddlers can be a handful before you take into account the need to exercise. They share this story with many of their clients, and they also share the strategies they've developed for making a little extra time to take care of yourself. They run an array of fitness boot camps that incorporate kickboxing, kettlebells, and plyometrics and are held outdoors at local parks. They even set aside specific dates for playdate fitness camps, where parents work out as their kids frolic on a nearby playground.

Jaiya Figueras started playing football as a child and eventually tackled his way up to the professional level in Canada, cultivating a career that inspired a passion for coaching. In addition to working as a high-school teacher and football coach, Figueras spent his post-pigskin years studying sports sciences and writing books about training. Eventually, he became a personal trainer, and one of his clients was Kimi Idio. Idio wanted to reboot her sedentary lifestyle, and with the help of Figueras' individualized attention, she was able to change her body and habits. Together, the duo formed Epic, where groups harmoniously endure intense guided workouts. Some workouts focus on muscles, others incorporate unconventional props, such as weighted rubber chickens, and some are designed for runners or football players.
