Specializing in family photography, Lesley Ann Bell captures honest and authentic moments in time with each colourful and captivating portrait. During each on-location shoot, she lets her shutter loose on memorable images, snapping a multitude of pictures before winnowing them down to 30 keepers ready for processing and display on prints or online image galleries. Lesley Ann also nurtures nascent shutterbugs through beginner's and advanced DSLR photography classes. Sessions begin with a one-hour training session that teaches photo fundamentals to beginners or advanced lighting techniques to more experienced students. Intimate five-students-or-less classes then migrate outdoors for an hour or more of hands-on experience. With friendly guidance from Lesley Ann, the group puts newly learned principles into practice, training lenses on the memorable landscape of riverbanks, trees, birds, and centaurs combing the grass with metal detectors.
Back in 1970, a young Michael Moster was inspired to buy his first camera and create his own darkroom after visiting a friend's, where he watched fascinating black-and-white images appear on blank photo paper. Seven years later, he went into the photography business full time. Moster developed a knack for capturing candid moments, and for making clients laugh. In 1994, he moved his business, Michael's Fine Photography, to a new studio on five acres in South Langley. Moster has received numerous awards for his work, such as the title "Master Of Photographic Arts" along with a Fellowship and Honourable Life Member status from the Professional Photographers of Canada—British Columbia; he also spent many years on the association's board of directors.
As photography went digital, Moster embraced these changes, becoming an expert in Photoshop and digital photo manipulation. These skills allow him to remove distracting background images from photographs, or perform “photographic surgery” on his clients themselves—delighting clients by taking years off their faces and delighting surrealists by swapping their heads with dinosaur skulls.
Robert Marlow has navigated the rapid evolution of photographic art since 1981. He specializes in straightforward studio and beach photography for families, capturing images "that people will want to use" with his simple, modern aesthetics and eye for classical composition and lighting. Making his subjects feel at ease, he draws out natural expressions that highlight their personalities through varying sessions, resulting in images of fun and goofy families, a newly engaged couple's tender embrace, or a tasteful close-up of Dad's baby bump. In 2007, he hired on photographer Heather Jean, who supplements Robert's skill with families and children with a dynamic take on actors' headshots and modelling photography.

Jasalyn and Jason Thorne have been photographing families for seven years. Also on their radar are baby portraits that document youngsters before they grow their first set of gills. Named on Weddingbells Magazine ’s list of the 30 Most Inspiring Photographers of 2011, the Thornes have been featured in WedLuxe, Real Weddings , and other publications. Jasalyn draws on a background in fine arts and fashion to document weddings with unique flair, while Jason catches candid shots in the background.
