Boynton Beach Boat Rentals provides the means to enjoy all that the area's waterways have to offer. Guests can power through the intercostal channels or venture to Peanut Island seated in a bowrider, deckboat, or sport-cabin powerboat as the wind whips through the vessel's open top. Boat rentals facilitate aquatic activities such as water skiing, tubing, or diving and fishing expeditions, as well as the chance to find out what salt tastes like.
Nestled against the cerulean waves of the Intracoastal Waterway for more than a mile, Lake Worth Golf Course?s 18-hole layout stretches across 6,100 yards of classic wetland terrain. With sparse tree lines and generous fairways throughout the course, Lake Worth?s relatively open, par 70 layout beckons to long-ball hitters, though particularly errant balls could wind up among the bottom-feeding trawl and heist-planning porpoises lurking in the waterway, which hugs the entire east side of the course. A nimble golf cart zips twosomes across the grassy monolith, expertly slaloming through palm trees and spinning its wheels with glee after each breathtaking birdie or stunning attempt at snapping a club shaft.

While teaching jazz dance in the 1960s, Judi Sheppard Missett decided to step away from tradition by offering an experimental class that allowed her students to simply dance without the judgment of mirrors or the constraints of rigid technique. In these sessions, she began infusing popular dance moves with specific fitness workouts to forge a distinctive blend of cardio exercise, strength training, and dance instruction. Little did she know that this “just for fun” class was the prototype for what would become the national fitness sensation known as Jazzercise.
Today, Jazzercise takes its aerobic techniques from a variety of sources that include jazz dance, hip-hop, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing. The class formats, which vary according to different toning goals, are just as diverse as the program's move set. Two-time Dancing with the Stars champion Cheryl Burke is a big fan of the improvisational routines, although her advanced skills aren't needed to get the most out of classes. Instructors cultivate a noncompetitive atmosphere where all exercisers—with the exception of those marked as cursed by jazz-hand palm readers—are welcome regardless of age, build, or fitness background.
Paintballs and airsoft ammo whiz through the air across East Coast Extreme Inc.'s 8 acres of simulated battlegrounds. On wooded fields, forest canopies cast shadows over paintball players as they weave through tree trunks, duck into ditches, and launch more acrylic salvos than a frustrated cartoonist. Elsewhere, splatterless ammo fires across 2 acres of airsoft fields. East Coast Extreme Inc.'s pro shop helps players stock up for these friendly battles. Its rich blue walls enclose a sea of airsoft and paintball gear, including guns with flashlights and laser scopes as well as safety gear.
The one-hour golf lesson, which includes all course or practice-facility fees, requires golfers to bring their own clubs to have their golf needs assessed and addressed by a PGA-certified instructor. The private schooling may include tips on proper alignment, grip, posture, ball position, swing mechanics, and more. Cloud 9 has partnered with golfing professionals and tee-off locales all over the country, including six participating teachers and courses in the Miami area: Daniel Larkin at the Atlantis Country Club in Atlantis; Doug Feldman at The Club at Pelican Bay in Daytona Beach; Marty Maisa at Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill; Lucas Cohen at Grand Palms Resort & Country Club in Pembroke Pines, multiple instructors at Palm-Aire Golf Academy in Pompano Beach, and Mark Arnold at Longboat Key Club & Resort in Longboat Key.
Dance Unlimited's graceful gurus nurture students' passion for rhythm and movement, schooling soft-shoers of all experience levels in a positive atmosphere. Taught by Dr. Nicole Rothman, the aerobic-dance hybrid Zumba class (Wednesdays, 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.) makes hearts race to the tunes and rhythms of Latin music, like a dog-sled team driven by a Mariachi band. The Ballroom/Latin class (Wednesdays, 8:15 p.m.–9:15 p.m.) alternates instruction on salsa, samba, tango, and cha-cha with swing, waltz, and other footwork favorites. Couples are welcome, but for those not living buddy-cop fantasies, a partner isn't necessary. Groupon customers are free to take all six of their lessons in a single category, or mix, match, and even take both on the same night. Bring appropriate floor-pounding footwear and call ahead to reserve your spot.
