Tish believes in taking her work home with her. When she’s not running Walk 'n' Roll Pet Sitting, she stays busy volunteering at pet foster centers, coordinating the LA Chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation, and tending to her own three rescue dogs: a labrador named Maddie, an English bulldog named Stella, and a pug named DaVinci. Her love and knowledge of pets also applies to Walk 'n' Roll Pet Sitting’s staff. She handpicks everyone on her team, each a pet owner who passed a thorough background check and completed extensive training. With their daycare, cage-free boarding, and in-home pet-sitting services, the staff treats each pooch as part of their family by recognizing individual personality traits and calling them on Thanksgiving to argue. They also exercise canines during private dog walks and offer additional services such as baths, vet visits, and administering medications.

Founded in 2007 by certified master dog trainer Jaime Van Wye, Zoom Room fosters relationships between dogs and their owners through obedience and agility classes. In addition to basic obedience courses, specialty classes for shy or overly rambunctious dogs build confidence through positive reinforcement and a controlled class environment. Dogs seeking less structured outings often romp through half-hour blocks of private gym time, working through the agility course at their own pace.
Canine Retreat pampers pooches in an open environment. Before playtime, staff members use their group canine-management training to screen dogs for temperament and place them in a group of likeminded canines. Dogs can then run around on a 12,000-square-foot rubber floor, imitating bouncy balls without incurring sore paws or joint injuries. After a long day of climbing on a series of colorful tunnels, ramps, and dog hammocks, pets can slumber in a sleeping area, grouped according to size. In addition to daycare, Canine Retreat offers bathing, nature excursions, and wellness services. Parents also can keep on eye on their pooches with private daycare viewing areas.
