Founders Mika and Jeremy Fue have packed Kidzone's indoor facility with a 20-foot single slide, an 18-foot double slide, and an obstacle course that stretches more than 30 feet long through which youngsters can maneuver under their parents' supervision. Three trampolines and roomy bounce houses accommodate bounding tykes and double as landing zones for confused flying squirrels; an interactive area supplies toddlers aged 2 and younger with age-appropriate games. Parents can drop off their kids every Friday night for three supervised hours of pizza, games, and inflatable play, or host their child's birthday celebration with an open or private party package.:
The acoustic whoosh of swooping golf clubs welcomes players to Peculiar Golf & Learning Center, where a stable of 16 driving range stalls fosters flusher drives and straighter approaches for players of all abilities. The range features both natural grass and artificial turf hitting surfaces, and clubbers can take aim at distant targets or windswept parade floats from covered or open-air hitting bays, all of which are illuminated by towering lights for late-night practice. A staff of resident aces presides over lessons conducted at the Center, where they help correct swing imbalances and illiterate clubs at the Center's practice green or sand bunker. A fully-stocked pro shop rounds out the Center's deep reservoir of golf resources with an array of clubs, bags, apparel, and other golf gear from brands such as Ping, Callaway, Nike, and TaylorMade.
The Parents' Night Out at Googols gifts tots free rein of the childcare facilities for four hours of parent-free supervision on various Saturday evenings, generally twice per month. Starting at 6 p.m., parental units relinquish children into the trusted and watchful care of Googols’ patient and well-practiced staff. Potty-trained guests age 3–12 can scramble around the indoor climbing structure, learn about nature in the kid-friendly science museum, and conduct Socratic seminars on cooties in the outdoor playground. Rampaging play-timers refuel with a slice of pizza and a drink before winding down with fistfuls of popcorn and a movie before pickup at 10 p.m., when relaxed parents and worn-out kids reunite for a well-deserved bedtime.
Imagine Drop-In Childcare is a licensed daycare center designed to provide flexible tot wrangling by the hour for children age 1–12. Licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as a daycare home, the center cushions and entertains wee brains with a three-ring circus of play spaces including a mini kitchen, a dress-up area, a puppet theater, and an ample library for Dr. Seuss study groups.
