The result is a cozy, balanced mix of masculine and feminine elements, including mocha-tinted walls, sleek styling chairs, animal-print accents, and the occasional tasteful pop of fuchsia. Ladies and gents can both appreciate the attention to detail Kat and her staff bring to haircuts, mani-pedis, and skin services such as microcurrent facials, as well as the shop's arsenal of top-of-the-line products bearing names such as Redken, Pureology, and Dermalogica. The staff goes above and beyond with indulgent extras such as head, neck, and shoulder massages and men's hot-towel treatments, but above all else, they pride themselves on creating a peaceful, quiet atmosphere where clients can escape from day-to-day stress and door-to-door salesmen.

Though wrapping something is usually supposed to keep it contained, the treatments at Segue Body Wraps are meant to force toxins and water weight out. The center’s technicians accomplish this effect by bandaging clients from feet to face in mineral-soaked fabric. Once fully wrapped, clients mount a Gazelle cardio machine to enhance the effects of the wrap with light exercise, which causes more sweating. This helps reduce cellulite and stretch marks while detoxifying the body. The wraps are the main attraction, but there are a handful of other services as well, including teeth whitening, spray-on tans, and detoxifying footbaths, the last of which pull toxins from the body using ionically charged water.

Many spas offer a multitude of skin and body treatments. Licensed aesthetician Michelle Cullum, owner of Renew You, takes a more focused approach. In her studio, she applies her 25 years of aesthetic experience toward just two services: cellulite reduction and Synergie facials. Both of these treatments employ a combination of vacuum suction and massage, which concurrently drain fat-cell fluids and boosts collagen production. The Synergie facial goes two steps further, exfoliating the skin with microdermabrasion and fading signs of age and skin damage with LED light. Before either treatment, Michelle consults with clients, explaining the procedure and answering questions.
