CoreFit Training Studio's inclusive environment combines old-school exercise philosophies with modern training methods to help patrons sculpt strong, lean physiques. Studio owner and certified fitness instructor Liz Gilinger specializes in functional training techniques that use weighted kettlebells, cross-training, and Pilates to work the whole body, including all the muscles used to wrestle mermaids on their home turf. Her supporting cast of dedicated trainers is trained and certified in a range of specialized modalities such as hot yoga, suspension training, and dance-inspired Zumba.
Outshine Dance & Fitness's experienced instructors turn each novice student’s two left feet into jazz-hand companions with a variety of dance and fitness classes. Instead of substituting sneakers for a pair of football helmets, step smoothly after signing up for 45-minute dance classes offered on Mondays and Thursdays, including hip-hop and adult jazz/hip-hop. Zumba fitness classes elevate heart rates while guiding students through Latin-inspired hip-swiveling shimmies, and belly-dancing classes showcase talented tummies as they roll, bob, and twist. Tiny toe-tappers (3-year-olds) can dance during creative movement classes to learn the boogie basics, and fleshoskeleton benders can attend the yoga fitness session or the Limbo 101 class to boost their flexibility and finally learn how to enter homes through chimneys.
When women find a fun new fitness class, they talk. Which is lucky for Aerobic Rhythmics, since it was primarily word-of-mouth that caused the aerobic workout to spread throughout 20 schools in Montgomery and Bucks counties, community buildings, and church locations since the first class in 1980. Instructors lead them through engaging, high-energy routines with nothing but resistance bands, hand weights, and mats, which produces lasting results.
