Above & Beyond The Pilates Studio teaches three versions of its namesake class, but all rely on the same established principals. Each class focuses on the importance of a strong core and straightened posture to help correct bodily imbalance and strengthen and lengthen muscles. Instructors use a mat and fitness accessories to achieve this during basic classes, but take the routine to a ballet barre during advanced and Pilates barre classes, which help sculpt the legs while still challenging the core. During each one-hour session, students will fine-tune mental focus and rhythmic breathing in order to complete moves with greater self-awareness, grace, and appreciation for the plight of oxygen masks.
The studio isn't focused on Pilates alone, however. It also arranges one-on-one personal-training sessions and adapts exercises specifically for golfers during Golf Advantage courses, which can help stabilize hips and shoulders during long bouts on the green.
At CrossFit Amplify, students won't waste time on a treadmill. Instead, they'll work on building strong, fit bodies with intense workouts led by certified CrossFit coaches Mike Viall and Scott Todnem and their staff. Their ever-changing Workouts of the Day challenge flexibility, strength, and stamina using functional movements and simple equipment such as kettlebells. Besides CrossFit sessions, the gym also hosts yoga, boxing, and other fitness classes to help students achieve their fitness goals.
Get Fit Together is a not a mega-gym—there are no saunas and no smoothie bar. Get Fit Together doesn’t need all that—everything clients need to get fit in this personal-training and small-group-training gym is in a compact area, from free weights to strength-training equipment to cardio props. Designed for people who need motivation and one-on-one attention, Get Fit Together has knowledgeable, certified personal trainers working intently with clients and teaching classes in boxing, stretching and flexibility, boot camp, and power training.
