Jaime Ellison had a lot of time to to think while recovering from a car accident. After five surgeries and more doctor's appointments than she could count, Jaime thought about all the time she spent traveling from office-to-office for different therapies and explaining the same details to different practitioners. She envisioned a single wellness center that would collect a variety of practitioners under one roof who could share information and conveniently give patients the care they need. She dedicated herself to becoming a personal trainer and, in 2009, she turned her ideas into reality by founding Santa Cruz Core. There, she leads a staff of trainers, yoga instructors, dietitians, massage therapists, and fitness instructors who help clients get and stay in shape with a wide range of wellness services and fitness classes.
