David Marron remembers a day when he was in middle school, kneeling atop a pew during Mass and clasping his hands together in prayer. His back, already strained at a young age from participating in a number of sports, sent pulses of pain to his knees. The pain overwhelmed him and he fainted, startling the Catholic-school peers around him. David's mother, concerned for the wellbeing of her son, decided to take him to a chiropractor. The treatments quickly helped to rebuild the strength in his body, and sparked young David's desire to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Since becoming a board-certified chiropractor in 1984, Doctor of Chiropractic David Marron has completed numerous post-graduate studies, garnered several certifications, and opened a center focused on treating ailments with a combination of holistic modalities. The team at Marron Wellness Center creates personalized healing plans for patients of all ages, whose aches and pains may meet their fate with any blend of techniques from chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage therapy.
The facility houses multiple treatment rooms, including three chiropractic rooms, two acupuncture rooms, and one decompression room, plus two separate waiting areas to ensure that all visitors can score a seat for themselves and their favorite cat figurine.
Dr. Henry Roth draws upon knowledge gleaned during stints with the 1988 U.S. Olympic team. During his intensive period of training in Carnegie Hall, Dr. Roth honed manual-therapy techniques to treat repetitive overuse syndrome in the dancers and musicians of the classical stage. He brings this experience to his practice at Health in Hand Massage Therapy Center, where he calls upon an array of massage modalities to help muscles recover from slouching or taking shortcuts home through live hockey games. Among his many specialties, which includes treating acute sciatica, the doctor?s exclusive Rothstone technique employs Y-shaped stones to emit soothing warmth deep into the body?s structures. When not healing muscles of their many maladies, Dr. Roth trains up-and-coming therapists at the North Jersey Massage Training Center in Parsippany.
Before he founded New Motive Hypnosis, certified personal trainer and nutritional consultant Patrick J. Murray was in search of new ways to help his clients achieve their goals. Soon, he discovered the powers of hypnosis, quickly earning the certifications to become a hypnotist and sports mental-performance coach through the American Board of Hypnotherapy. Through tailored meditation sessions, Patrick now bypasses the conscious mind and taps into long-held behavioral patterns and belief systems, which are stored in the subconscious mind in a box labeled ?Do Not Touch ? MGMT.? Through this process, Patrick helps his clients transcend instilled habits and reach their personal goals, whether they're to quit smoking, relieve stress, lose weight, or improve their sports performance
Dr. Dennis Hupka and Dr. Lisa Mazzella founded their practice around the belief that chiropractic care can help any client regardless of age. Through chiropractic services, the doctors strive to bring balance to their clients' bodies and minds. Treatment plans are designed around each client's specific needs, whether they seek relief from chronic pains, corrective care after an injury, or just all-around wellness in case they want to try and move a couch all by themselves. In order to ensure their clients feel at ease in their offices, Drs. Hupka and Mazzella even provide a detailed list of what to expect. There, they answer common questions such as what happens during your first visit and what the phases of chiropractic care are.
The Kaiser Fit Club's staff doesn't have time to work out complicated contracts or membership schemes?they're too busy helping their clients get fit through dynamic, effective exercise classes. The team welcomes patrons of all fitness levels to its TRX suspension-training classes, in which students battle their body weights while dangling from resistance bands. Along the way, instructors mastermind modifications to match newcomers' abilities or target participants' personal goals. The fitness gurus complement their TRX-only sessions with fusion classes, which incorporate core-strengthening moves from Pilates or ballet-inspired barre-fitness exercises.
As Dr. Brent Kaiser sees it, he's not just treating symptoms at Kaiser Therapy Offices. He's helping restore families' lives and love. While he's not the first chiropractor to see a holistic connection between physical pain and the rest of the body, he is unique in analyzing pain's connection to the rest of one's life. "A back ache is not just a back ache," he explains. "It is a shortened temper. It is a reason not to play with your children." And so, Dr. Kaiser uses chiropractic care, physical therapy, and acupuncture to get patients of all ages feeling well enough to live, work, play, and connect with those the love.
