In practice since 1987, Dr. Jeffrey Leibowitz focuses not just on teeth, but on how a healthy mouth can affect overall health. With this in mind, he takes preventative measures to keep cavities and plaque at bay, though if something does go wrong he's also at the ready with restorative treatments such as root canals and crowns. And because Dr. Leibowitz believes that beautiful smiles contribute to self-esteem, he and his staff also perform cosmetic services, including whitening, veneers, and gum contouring.

Steinway Family Dental Center offers a balance of traditional and future-forward dental treatments. While the ambient whir of metal dental drills is sometimes heard, the dental professionals also rely on lasers to conduct general and cosmetic services. They can prod soft tissue with traditional tools in search of cavities, or they can expose their hideaways with laser light. A stronger version of laser light can replace metal drills and anesthesia in order to fill them. They can also leave their metal blades in the drawer during gum contouring too, reshaping gum lines with less bleeding and trauma.
The center furthers this passion for cutting-edge care in a range of cosmetic services. Smile-beautifying technologies such as the metal-free braces known as Invisalign and Lumineers' ultra-thin veneers cast off much of the pain and unwieldy equipment necessary of older procedures, creating a straight, gleaming grin more conveniently than ever before. For more deep-seated issues, the dental pros are adept at mending gum problems, oral diseases, and other maladies with in-depth training in numerous specialty procedures.
Dr. Elliot Sabbagh, DDS, wanted to be a dentist as soon as he graduated from high school, so he took the fastest route to get there: New York University’s accelerated dental program. He has put that extensive training to good use for the past 18 years at iSmile Dental Centers, a group practice he started and has expanded to include eight practices across New York City’s five boroughs. He and his fellow dentists provide a comprehensive slate of dental services—exams, crowns, fillings, digital x-rays, wisdom-tooth extraction, veneers, and power whitening—that cover patients’ preventive, surgical, and cosmetic needs.
