Bruce Louis ran his first half marathon when he was only 9 years old. By the time he was 13, he was running full marathons—and he hasn't stopped since. Health and fitness have anchored his life, from boxing and martial-arts classes to his stint in the US Army, where he helped overweight soldiers get back in shape, including Bruce's wife and fellow US Army veteran Kasey Louis. While serving in the army, she prepared nutritious menus for soldiers. On the home front, she waged a personal battle with hypertension and high cholesterol, eventually losing nearly 50 pounds through exercise and healthy eating. Together, Bruce and Kasey work with their clients on goals such as losing body fat, training for sports, and controlling portion sizes.
