As proud members of the community, Daniel and Tamara Esquibel take great pride in providing their community with quality photography. As parents, they also understand how fast kids grow up. They slow the process down with lively portrait sessions for kids and families. Portraits for high-school seniors are available, as well. With the same enthusiasm they show for those shoots, they also cover weddings and special events such as dance recitals. Those special events can gain an extra boost with their photo-booth rentals. Photo booths come with an onsite attendant, unlimited photos, and fun props to pose with.
With four museums and six monuments, the nonprofit Museum of New Mexico Foundation keeps the state's artistic and cultural heritage alive with enthralling permanent collections, exhibits, and events. Art aficionados can marvel at more than 20,000 works by artists with strong ties to the state in the New Mexico Museum of Art, check out more than 1,300 artifacts in the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, and attempt to tape their “lost cat” flyers to more than 100,000 items culled from 100 countries at the Museum of International Folk Art. Meanwhile, the New Mexico History Museum’s 30,000-square-foot exhibition space covers topics ranging from the Santa Fe Trail to World War II through art, maps, and photographs.
After each museum visit, guests can stop by the Coronado State Monument, which marks the spot where Coronado and his crew entered the Rio Grande Valley in search of the Seven Cities of Gold and their lost car keys. The foundation's sextet of monuments also includes the stone ruins of a 500-year-old Indian village at Jemez and exhibits on frontier and military life at Fort Selden.
Luna Laundry's cleaning staff takes over the time-consuming chore of keeping clothes and linens in like-new condition. The crew supplies delivery clients with mesh laundry bags, which are picked up each week at a predetermined time. Once picked up, the clothes are gently cleaned with washing agents devoid of added colors and perfumes—a considerate combination that aims to prevent allergic reactions and mystified looks from dogs who hardly recognize their owners' most chewable pair of slacks. In addition to offering convenience, the process is also environmentally friendly. Luna Laundry uses an AquaRecycle cleaning system that filters and reclaims 70% of the water used, a fact that earned the company a Sustainable Santa Fe Award in 2009.
The instructors at Sierra Aviation share more than 15,000 hours of combined experience in the skies, and use their aviator's intuition to instill students with proper technique and the confidence to put it to use?regardless of their skill level. A fleet of well-maintained planes offers a range of options, whether pupils are just learning to fly or going for more advanced licenses.
The Hacienda Doña Andrea de Santa Fe was painstakingly researched before construction, ensuring a historically accurate den of colonial European hospitality. A virtual tour of the bed and breakfast will give hotelgoers an educated viewpoint of the nine room choices. Each room has its own special blend of luxury amenities, but every suite has a fireplace, patio, and excellent view of the rugged, beautiful sky and peaceful, starry mountains. Hacienda Doña Andrea de Santa Fe is also doggy friendly, allowing four-legged friends to come along for the vacation and live the luxury life that many amateur tennis players dream of.
