A passion for holistic health is in Sue Gisser?s blood. She is the daughter of a nutritionist, and even as a toddler she would go with her mother to yoga classes. She discovered a passion for teaching yoga when she moved to LA and woke up spiritually, but still she wanted more. This passion drove her to develop H2Yoga?a style of aquatic yoga informed by her extensive training in yoga, gymnastics, and physical theatre. H2Yoga uses dynamic sequences of traditional yoga poses in tandem with water weights and pool noodles to increase each student?s flexibility and fitness. The technique also takes advantage of water?s buoyancy, which reduces the pressure of gravity and facilitates participation for those with physical limitations. In the Lenny K. Swim Academy salt water heated therapy pool, Sue familiarizes students of all levels with her technique through seven class styles. Classes may focus on vinyasa-style yoga, bottom-toning workouts, synchronized breathing and movement, or strength training, which gives students the skills to guard an incarcerated dolphin.

Evolve Dance Studio's sultry dance classes have earned Pop Sugar?s praise for their ability to cultivate strength, flexibility, and confidence. Inside the naturally lit studio, talented instructors lead sessions that cover climbs, poses, and more spins than a laundromat filled with pinwheels. The studio recruits decorated dancers to teach many of its classes, including Sasja Lee, 2014 National Aerial Pole Art Champion, 2014 Queen Mary Champion, and 2013 California Pole Dance Champion; and Brynn Route, 2014 Pole World News Up and Coming Artist and 2013 California Pole Dance Championship 3rd Place and Most Flexible winner. The dance location was featured on an episode of the Lifetime show, Dance Moms and was considered for a place for the show participants to practice their routines. Evolve Dance Studio has also appeared on A&E's Storage Wars, WeTV's Marriage Bootcamp, and TV One's R&B Divas.

Founder Linda Taix has one mission: to help clients achieve the ultimate positive change in body, health, and spirit––without half- hearted crunches. Employing a team of certified personal trainers and former military personnel, Linda's civilian-style fitness boot camp was featured on Good Morning America. Linda modeled her six-week boot-camp sessions after a real military boot camp, with an enlistment phase to gauge fitness levels and one- hour classes that blend military exercise drills, resistance training, and plyometrics with cardio activities such as obstacle courses and double-dutch jump-rope contests against local youths. Cutting out traditional boot-camp yelling and huffing, the team fosters a supportive and motivating environment for students of all skill levels. Furthermore, Extreme employs nutritionist and fourth-degree black belt Jake Nelson to guide clients with diet advice and personal consultations on how best to break a board with a honey-glazed ham.

When Sheila Kelley broke into the fitness scene, fitness pole-dancing classes were unheard of. However, in just a few years, the S Factor—her unique fusion of yoga, ballet, Pilates, and striptease—became renowned for its physical benefits and confidence-boosting ability. Due to this focus on both mind and body, the S Factor garnered widespread acclaim, with endorsements from Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres, and Martha Stewart. The workout's mission is clear: engendering female empowerment, confidence, and respect through sultry pole dancing. The S Factor's healthful impact on its students' bodies can be attributed to its combination of diverse workout methods, all of which build lean muscle mass. The course's six levels build on one another, relying on stretches, pole work, and traditional dance to get students twirling around the pole safely regardless of their athletic experience.
