For 12 years, Ryan Ringe battled wildfires in Idaho, Washington, and Alaska, learning about forestry while preventing the destruction of natural areas. Now an ISA-certified arborist and tree-risk assessor, Ringe owns Arbor Barber Tree Service, where he trims, removes, and maintains trees alongside a crew of trained and certified professionals. Free consultations are included to assess trees, shrubs, and hedges for health problems, potential hazards, and hidden Swiss Family Robinson residences. The technicians perform all work according to ISA and ANSI standards to maintain the safety of both humans and plants.
There's something for everyone at The Den Coffee House & Cafe, from the drip coffee connoisseur to the gluten-free pastry lover. Hot and cold drinks are prepared with care by the Caffe D'Arte-certified baristas, and guests can pick up whole-bean coffees or loose-leaf teas for home brewing and drinking. Pastries and other sweets are baked fresh daily, including banana bread, gluten-free brownies, and signature cookies. The Coffee House also hosts several different types of alternative milks including coconut and almond. Live music on the weekends provides a lively atmosphere without the help of caffeine or by switching out sugar for smelling salt.
With a degree in landscape architecture from Washington State and more than 20 years of experience, Chris McAuslan crafts custom designs for both residential and commercial properties. When he isn't stocking his nursery with beautiful trees and shrubs, he installs landscape lighting, waterfalls, synthetic grass, and eco-friendly, solar-powered flowers.
12 years of horticultural knowledge and over 5 years professionally designing gardens sets my work apart from a typical landscaper. Focus on right plant, right place, and deep understanding of my client's aesthetic using clear communication. "Planting the seeds of great design."

The Full Circle process fosters benefits for all parties involved—customers can keep healthy by eating organically while supporting green farmers whose eco-friendly practices create nutrient-rich organic produce that will then be sold back to the customers, now dizzy from spinning.
Licensed cheese artisan Julie Steil and her husband Rob once crafted cheeses as a part-time hobby, until encouragement from those who had tasted the results prompted them to turn the delectable pastime into a full-time passion. Today, the Steils manage their own herd of goats and cows who lead pampered lives on the couple's 20-acre farm, where a diet of alfalfa, blackberry thickets, and chocolate syrup yield better-tasting milk. The Steils create different cheeses in small batches, ranging from a semihard cheese bathed in raspberry port to a raw milk tomme bathed in Naughty Nellie ale from Pike Brewery. Landing River Valley Cheese on Sunset magazine's list of the Top 100 Cultural Trends Shaping the West, Julie and Rob also share their love of fromage fashioning at hands-on cheese-making classes, where attendees can learn to create their own wheels of fresh and aged cheeses, instead of relying on the questionable quality of the cheeses peddled by door-to-door sales cows.
