For more than 20 years, Dr. Roger A. Flake has devoted himself to addressing patients’ deepest concerns, from their health to their confidence, through general and cosmetic dentistry. His sense of humor and ability to treat each patient as an individual allows him to gain patients' trust and learn about their specific needs.
Having graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1985, Dr. Flake has stayed abreast of dental developments with continuing education and participation in such dental organizations as the Seattle Study Club, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the National Council on Tooth Fairies. Membership in these organizations has helped Dr. Flake expand his expertise to advanced cosmetic and restorative treatments, including LaserSmile teeth whitening, Invisalign, and custom-made veneers.
We are a private office that makes customer service our number one priority. We provide our patients one on one attention in a friendly, unhurried and relaxed atmosphere. We are a small staff who has worked together for many years. You will see the same people every time you come and get the best care.
The team at Progressive Dental Group regularly trains on the industry's latest technological developments to make their services as effective and pleasant as possible. Seattle-area natives and University of Washington School of Dentistry alums Drs. John Skibiel, Ranjiv Hayre, and Adam Berry call upon more than 35 years of combined experience as they provide cosmetic and family dental services, including single-visit CEREC crowns, dental implants, porcelain veneers, and teeth whitening. Dr. Berry was named a top area dentist by Seattle Met magazine in 2011.
Striving for patient comfort and entertainment, the crew outfits each treatment room with flat-screen TVs and WiFi access. The office's welcoming reception area invites clients to relax in plush armchairs arranged around the stone counter. A cozy fireplace warms hands in cold weather and eagerly consumes candy bars before they have the chance to induce cavities.
Apart from making our lives more efficient and ensuring that we can more easily answer nuanced questions about Golden Girls plotlines, technology can make us feel comfortable. At DMG Dental Design, Dr. David Myaskovsky grasps this modern concept and constantly seeks out innovative tools that expedite his procedures and set his clients at ease. In addition to low-radiation, digital x-ray systems, he outfits his treatment rooms with ultrasonic cleaning technology and laser cavity finders, which can more accurately detect decay before it causes extensive damage. The office also stocks the means for cosmetic treatments, from porcelain veneers to Zoom! teeth whitening.
Yet apart from technology, old-fashioned friendliness and a few amenities still help. At DMG Dental Design, a visual playground of glass sculptures entices the eye, with sconce lighting that resembles blue sea urchins stuck to the wall and an open treatment area divided by rectangles of opaque orange and green. Visitors can also augment their appointment by watching television, listening to music, or practicing their proficiency at speaking only in vowels.
Nurse practitioner Olga Voloshina and her team of aestheticians divide their services into three categories, though all three serve the same purpose: to enhance the appearance of skin. The medical-grade facial services do so traditionally, with the help of cleansers, moisturizers, and exfoliation in the form of peels and microdermabrasion that are individually customized for each client. The laser and light treatments are more technologically savvy. During these, intense light penetrates the skin, dissipating the blood supply to vascular or pigmented lesions causing them to dissipate, helping to clear up conditions such as rosacea, acne, and sun damage. Finally, they administer injectables such as Botox and Dysport to freeze muscular movements so that wrinkles on the skin's surface smooth out. Of course, before beginning any procedure, a staff member consults with each client to devise the proper treatment plan for the client's skin woes.
