Under the umbrella of The Bowling Proprietors' Association of North Jersey, an eclectic group of alleys work together to fill the region with the thunder of scattering pins. At most of Bowling Proprietors' bowling centers, bowlers keep track of pummeled pins with automatic scoring, and bumpers, which arrive at the call of a button, keep balls on course without filling the gutters with retired VCRs. Snack bars at some locations bolster ravenous bowlers, and game rooms in select centers keep hand-eye coordination in peak condition. Free WiFi is available in some centers so that winners can exercise bragging rights.

Each year, the coaches from Kiddie Soccer introduce thousands of children between the ages of 3.5 and 6 to the most popular team sport in the world—soccer—through safe, fun classes in a constructive environment. For the first 50 minutes of each session, groups of up to 12 kids engage in team-building games such as Red Light Green Light or Sharks and Minnows to build physical and cooperative skills and, above all, have fun. Kids then split off into teams for a 10-minute friendly competition, enjoying themselves while learning teamwork under the coach's watchful, supportive eye.
The Nine Thai kitchen abounds with fresh ingredients—ripe juicy mangos cuddling up next to fresh garlic and bright red chili peppers. Skilled chefs fold this eclectic produce, as well as seafood and strips of pork, chicken, and beef, into curries, rice dishes, and Thai specialties. Their pad thai, for example, showers thin noodles with peanuts, sprouts, scallions, and eggs to create an authentic, homestyle rendition of the classic dish that doesn’t rely on a portal connected to a grandmother’s kitchen in Thailand. As the chefs bustle about the kitchen, diners chat at one of the intimate dining room’s 15 tabletops, sipping thai iced teas and fresh mango juice.
