Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century.
A sea of framed snapshots of famous players sweeps across the newly painted wall of Friendly Confines. Sports games play on the dining room's numerous television screens, accompanying plates of hearty wings, burgers, and steaks. Outside, pint glasses, pitchers, and cocktail glasses clink beneath the colorful umbrellas that speckle the front patio. Throughout the week, the pub hosts games and contests, including Tuesday night bingo, Sunday night live music, and Wednesday afternoon competitive quilting.
Gathered at a local watering hole with his buddies, Chris Brown hatched an idea: a bar where guests could drink bottled craft beer in the company of classic, stand-up arcade games. Chris's vision transformed into BART, where coolers stock wine and craft beers from breweries such as Bell's, Harpoon, and Dogfish Head. The brews change every week, as do the free games, which include favorites from the 70s, 80s, and 90s such as Centipede, Donkey Kong, and Pac Man, the classic game that taught a generation that the best way to overcome their demons was to eat them. After beating the boss levels, patrons can enjoy more brews while checking out the local artwork.

Though they hail from faraway lands such as China, Japan, and South Africa, many of these teas are organic and fair-trade certified, reflecting values owner Christina Cowherd cultivated while traveling the world in the Peace Corps. Rare, premium teas such as gyokuro transport taste buds to new frontiers as well, whether nestled in a takeaway tin or steeped in a pot made for sharing in house.
