Kari Stoppenbach spent 16 years honing her craft as an aesthetic technician, working alongside cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists while developing her own organic skincare line. These experiences inspired her to open her own spa, where she performs cutting-edge medical-grade procedures, including ultrasound therapy and custom chemical peels designed to remove acne scars or sun spots and leave skin with a firm, more youthful look.
After years of witnessing and performing countless cosmetic procedures, Kari noticed that the limited number of postoperative concealers frustrated her patients. She kept these frustrations in mind when she designed her Skin-Kari line of skincare products made from organic ingredients. The products help skin heal after a med-spa treatment by shielding it against UV rays from the sun and exposed lightsabers, hiding any signs of redness while employing zinc to promote natural healing.
Master stylist and colorist Michael brings more than five years of experience to Hair Studio Salon, where he cuts and colors hair to bolster the beauty of his clients. A transplant from New York City, Michael uses Schwarzkopf products during his hair cutting, coloring, and conditioning services.
Even as a little girl, Arlene Gray knew she wanted to be a hairstylist, and she has spent the last 27 years fulfilling that dream. After training in New York City, she moved south, eventually opening A's Hair Salon. Not only does she continue to treat hair to her expert styling services—including colorings, cuts, keratin treatments, relaxers, and extensions—but she also shares her knowledge with others as a cosmetology instructor and volunteer stylist for cancer-related charities.
Full sets of acrylic nails. Deluxe pedicures that unfurl across a full, relaxing hour. OPI gel manicures that stay chip-free for weeks. These are just a few of the nailcare services administered by Angie Breedwell inside her cozy studio space, which features a comfy leather pedicure chair and verdant plants. In addition to buffing nails to a high shine and moisturizing dry cuticles, she will include the customer’s choice of American- or French-style nail painting with any service, depending on which language cuticles speak.
After Robert Bay trained with Paul Mitchell, Eufora International, and Redken, he went on to work for a litany of fashion designers. PacSun, the Vera Wang wedding-dress collection, and Miss Mundo Latina United States all find space on his resumé alongside magazine photo shoots. Today, Robert mans a private space inside an iStudio Salon, where he styles, colors, and even waxes hair. While he works, he uses botanical-rich products by Rusk and AG Hair, which eschew parabens, gluten, animal testing, and animal homework. His portfolio illustrates his penchant for retro-chic coiffures from the 1920s to the 1950s, loose wavy tresses, and bridal updos. When Robert isn't primping his clients and teaching them how to retain their styles at home, he supports local shelters for women and children and gives haircuts to the homeless.
