Inside CrossFit Thin Blue Line’s factory-like structure, certified CrossFit coaches transform any committed exerciser into an athletes with barbells and sledgehammers, regardless of age, condition, or experience level. Being a major strength and conditioning program for several police academies and champion martial artists, classes revolve around a broad and inclusive strength-training curriculum consisting of moves inspired by Olympic weightlifters and gymnasts. In addition to building lean muscle mass with dumbbells and pull-ups, participants torch calories and cultivate stamina with cardio challenges, such as rowing and sprinting, and is applicable for real-world situations. During On Ramp classes, instructors show newcomers how to exercise safely, whether they're wielding a heavy weight or jumping rope with a sleeping boa constrictor. The exercises can be scaled to different levels of fitness, allowing beginners and accomplished athletes to work out side by side.

The audience goes wild for Chef Jesus "Suso" Seoane as he deftly dances the handle of a sharp butcher knife between his fingers. As if drawn by magnet, the blade finds a large red pepper and flays it down the center in one fluid stroke. When Jesus isn't flaunting his knife skills on the Telemundo cooking show Cocinando con Suso, he's hard at work perfecting an authentic menu of Spanish and Latin-American dishes at his restaurant, Suso Latino Basket.
The word suso sprawls across his eatery's wall, a painted chef's hat jauntily hanging off the o. When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I've been programming since the age of 11 when I purchased my first computer, a Commodore 64. I was making my own games and had one published in a national computer magazine at the age of 12. By the age of 14 I was teaching others to program and in teaching technology, found a life long passion.
What aspect of your job, or the services you offer, most often surprises people?
People are surprised by how easy it is to learn most aspects of software development. Once the domain of mathematicians, contemporary programming is easy to learn and allows you to get results quickly. We've had students as young as 7 and as old as 77 and all have been successful at learning programming and software development through our courses.

Hour sessions on the massage table at A.L.C. Massage Therapy can feel as restful as a whole night's worth of sleep. That's because therapists not only make the atmosphere as tranquil as possible, but also work out tensions that builds up in muscles. Therapists practice relaxation-massage techniques, as well as deep-tissue strokes for more stubborn knots that won't confess where heavy backpacks are hiding.
