Koko FitClub’s Greater Princeton automated personal-training system rockets both men and women toward fitness goals with 30-minute custom workouts that incorporate cardio and strength training. An initial consultation determines fitness level and baseline measurements, which Koko’s computerized equipment uses to design a tailored workout plan that precisely measures the weight, pace, and rest time appropriate for each exerciser.
The Koko uniquely patented machines guide exercisers through each workout and adapt as the user’s fitness needs change, to constantly challenge the body. Designed by expert professional trainers, workouts maximize the body’s lean-muscle mass, which can boost metabolism and help fight off disease by challenging viruses to kickboxing matches. Exercisers can track their shrinking waistlines and swelling muscles online by analyzing workout scores and comparing individual fitness levels to the Koko FitClub Greater Princeton community.
PowerHouse Gym's expansive 15,000-square-foot facility stands on its founders' years of combined experience and previous health club ownerships. In designing the gym, they have called upon combinations of weight machines, aerobic equipment, and nutritional know-how to strengthen and tone bodies of virtually every fitness level. In addition to flooding their gym with up-to-date equipment such as step mills by Matrix and treadmills by Life Fitness, the team also carves out a cadre of boot camp, spinning, chisel, and personal-training classes.
When Hillsborough Pool, Racquet & Fitness opened in 1979, it was solely a racquetball venue. Since then, renovations have morphed the building into a 25,000-square-foot fitness mecca. The facility now boasts a revamped façade, a nursery, remodeled locker rooms, and a fitness area furnished with Life Fitness cardio and strength-training machines. Instructors stage spinning, yoga, Zumba, and Pilates classes inside fitness studios and aqua-aerobics classes in the indoor 55’x25’ pool, which also houses the facility’s resident humpback whale.
After deciding to be a doctor at the age of 9, Dr. Peter Wishnie entered the world of sports, gaining a firsthand look at the orthopedic issues unique to athletes. Years later, he began applying this knowledge, working alongside three podiatrists to help make feet happy enough to applaud themselves awkwardly. His team treats and prevents a wide array of orthopedic, skin, nail, and diabetic foot issues with clinical pedicures, as well as massage, waxing, and nail-oriented care.
At Fit 'N Firm, women can workout in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. The gym features fitness equipment such as strength-training machines, free weights, resistance bands, and stability balls. They also conduct regular classes such as Zumba, yoga, and their signature PACE circuit program, which uses circuits of intense and light exercise to help shape the body without creating bulky muscles.
Lasers reach beneath the surface of the skin, targeting the pigment in the root of the hair, which eases or eliminates growth. Quick, intense pulses of light directed at the face fade the appearance of spider veins or rosacea. Permanent cosmetics applied to eyes, lips, and brows subtly enhance faces and give the wearers more time in the morning to focus on harvesting their own coffee beans. Body Chic - Cosmetic MedSpa’s service-oriented and expert medical staff, led by Edward Buch, MD, performs these treatments and others on its quest to help clients find their aesthetic ideal. Additional treatments include vampire face-lifts, G-spot amplification, C-section-scar release, and semipermanent eyelash extensions.
