Modeled after The Juilliard School in New York, the Naples Performing Arts Center celebrates dance, drama, music, and film. When speaking with Fox 4 News, the center's owner proudly proclaimed it a facilitator for the "love of the arts for our children." Kids do receive ample opportunity for creative expression in the creative beginners program, which fosters a fun and supportive environment for preschoolers' imaginations to blossom with songs, stories, and future Internet dance crazes.
Both older children and adults can expand their creative capacities with classes and workshops that are both social and instructional. Dance lessons teach the choreography of Latin, swing, and ballroom dances, and music instruction legally marries hands and minds to the keys and strings of pianos, guitars, and violins. In the drama department, students can challenge themselves with the center's Broadway studio series.
Cheryl L. Sington's interdisciplinary dance and fitness training has led her to study with, and sometimes even work with, famed figures such as John Landis, Michael Jackson, and Natalie Cole. As the owner of The Dance Warehouse, she passes on her experience in a setting that's professional, yet noncompetitive and fun-focused. Programs for children and adults span nearly every dance genre, including beginner through advanced training in jazz, tap, hip-hop, and ballet. The studio also branches out to include instruction in areas such as musical theater and acrobatics. To supplement these courses, The Dance Warehouse hosts special workshops and master classes, many led by guest choreographers.
The members of PAN Performing Arts Network bring a range of backgrounds to their international collective: some are experienced musical composers, guitarists, and singers, while others are established teaching artists and actors. Their expertise allows them to gather all the arts under one roof with an annual performance season and more than 40 regular classes each week. These classes span instruction in dance styles such as Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Afro-Haitian, and Irish Step, as well as training in Creative Movement, Acting, Instrumental Music, and Voice. Instructors tailor their classes to the needs of beginner through advanced-level adults, children, and children disguised as adults. They also provide classes suited to senior citizens and students with special needs.

The award-winning acting coach and filmmaker Ralph Kinnard still offers classes for beginners and professionals at Miami Acting Studio. His acting workshops are based on the techniques of Lee Strassberg (he of Actor’s Studio fame), the father of modern acting. Each once-a-week session works to teach actors the basics and beyond, by building on their natural instincts, emotions and abilities, before taking risks on stage. The class work includes improvisation and scene development to help actors build their craft, and many of the Studio’s graduates find work have had success in television and movies. Best of all: the first class is always free.
