Situated along shorelines in Tampa, Naples, and Key West, Florida Marina Club keeps watercraft ready to crest the waves with docking services, fuel docks, and ship repairs. The marinas’ terra firma amenities match the refinement of their seaside offerings. Restaurants and bars home in on local flavors and international atmospheres, from the Cuban and Caribbean recipes at The Club at Key West Harbour to the weekend pool parties at Tampa’s Hula Bay Club. When not dining or enjoying drinks at Jack's River Bar or Gordon's On The River, members can sweat away cares in saunas, glide through heated infinity pools, or sketch the design for a hypothetical seventh chess piece in restive clubhouses.

It would take a massive pool to accommodate every diver who's been trained by Scuba Outfitters of Naples. To date, the company's instructors have educated and certified more than 1,000 scuba divers, and their aquatic alumni only continue to grow in numbers. PADI training begins in Scuba Outfitters' heated indoor training pool, where the experts introduce the most fundamental skills, such as how to avoid dissolving. Eventually, the instructors take students to premier diving locations, including the reefs of Key Largo.

Ladies, Let's Go Fishing! is a "no yelling" seminar that teaches women saltwater-fishing techniques in an encouraging, non-competitive environment. The weekend kicks off on Friday night with a welcome reception to meet future fishing buddies. Saturday morning commences with classroom instruction regarding inshore, offshore, bottom, and fly-fishing fundamentals. After a lunch break, ladies mosey from one hands-on lesson to the next to learn vital fishing skills such as casting, conservation, boat maneuvering, landing and releasing, net casting, gaffing, trailer backing, and more. Although not included in this Groupon, there is a chartered fishing trip on Sunday that lets ladies put their freshly minted skills to use. The weekend wraps up with instructions on how to filet fish. Ladies, Let's Go Fishing! provides equipment so that participants can leave their rods and oversized fishing yachts at home.

From catching a 5-pound largemouth bass at age 5 to spending his summers competing in offshore fishing tournaments in the Bahamas, Captain Sean Adler's proudest moments have played out aboard a boat. Now the licensed captain strives to share the thrill of a taut line with passengers of all fishing-experience levels. To that end, he and his crew monitor the tides, barometric pressure, and moon phases to inform departure times for their fishing trips. They stock their boats with ample bait, ice, and fishing equipment for all guests. Once passengers reel in their catches, the crew snaps photos which anglers can proudly display at the office or threaten ungrateful pet goldfish at home.

After plans were revealed to build a road through Rookery Bay in 1964, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida formed to protect the region's environmental interests. This small group of concerned citizens mobilized the community to halt the project, protecting the land, water, and wildlife that makes southwest Florida beautiful. Today, the group continues that work on a larger scale, promoting clean water in the Everglades, treating and releasing injured animals, and protecting sea turtle hatchlings.
