In the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, 33 of the 39 first-round picks had previously attended a Perfect Game event. That's because Perfect Game is the premier scouting network dedicated to advancing the development and careers of amateur baseball players through more than 100 showcases a year. Emerging stars come together to compete in leagues, tournaments, and individual showcases in front of high-level scouts from collegiate and professional organizations.

Perfect Game helps young players improve their fundamentals at its indoor training facilities, which feature pitching-machine cages, indoor dirt mounds, two full-size hitting areas, and a weight-training room, as well as fast-pitch softball machines and pitching areas. The staff is made up of former professional baseball players, college players, and coaches.

Diamond Dreams Baseball and Softball Academy's athletic facilities double as classrooms for players of all ages. A 10,000-square-foot arena houses indoor pitching mounds, technique cages, and throwing tunnels with Iron Mike and curveball pitching machines. An adjoining 2,000-square-foot performance center caters to youth and adult development programs.

Helming these facilities, experienced instructors adhere to a philosophy known as Life-Sport-Connect. As implied by its title, Life-Sport-Connect emphasizes the link between athletics and the real world. As athletes learn how to maintain a positive attitude, work as a team, and douse their coach in sports drink, they develop virtuous characteristics that affect their personal lives.

Classes, workshops, and camps primarily emphasize baseball, softball, and football. Regular baseball tournaments provide game time between local and regional teams, and a chance to show off with home-run derbies and throwing competitions.

An indoor baseball, softball, and soccer training facility, The Batter's Box provides athletes of all ages a year-round spot to improve their skills. Balls and bats clack at nine different baseball and softball areas—including six automated batting cages and a bullpen tunnel—where pitchers practice throwing from the stretch and learn what it takes to not be a belly itcher. Under the same roof, a 5,000-square-foot oasis of AstroTurf sprawls before soccer players, and professional instructors dish out coaching tips to individuals or groups during lessons.
