Such is the unique fate of the stationary bikes at The Vicious Cycle, which embark on 20- to 25-mile journeys without ever leaving the studio. Here, riders can burn up to 800 calories in each 45- or 60-minute class, though the intensity of the workout remains entirely up to them. Spinners can adjust each cycle's resistance level in order to control the difficulty of the ride or the mimic the unpredictable nature of outdoor terrain. Vitality Fitness is a personal training facility in Collingswood, dedicated to helping its clients burn calories and tone muscle with regimented exercise program. At this functional studio, certified instructors lead small classes of 16 people or less through intense cardio stationary bike workouts, paired with constantly changing lights and music. Clients burn up to 1,000 calories per spinning class, and everyone works at their own pace on the customizable bikes. Guests can also try a CardioFit or Fat Blaster Boot Camp class to turn up the intensity of regular workout routines.
Club Fitness tones and pampers bodies with group training, personal training, and tanning services, earning the Best of Gloucester County award in 2013 for its fitness center and gym.
