Paintball Indiana's owner and operator Chris bought his first marker––a PCS Storm––almost 20 years ago. He was hooked from the very first paintball shot, and within five years began refereeing games and designing his own equipment. Six years ago, his passion led him to purchase Paintball Indiana's expansive 20 acres of fields, which revolve around a central defensive castle. Chris now employs his own referees, a staff of young and passionate players that regulates games of speedball, woodsball, or scenario play on the three fields and lobby sofas. Chris' fields also play host to three- and five-man speedball leagues, which help players hone their marksmanship before upcoming tournaments. Large-scale games are de rigueur as well, as Chris and the staff takes down the nets between fields for the Big Game––an event hosting vast armies of players battling across 700 feet of terrain in the hopes of capturing the castle's prized Beanie Baby collection.
As golfers traverse Foxcliff Golf Club's tree-lined fairways and spacious countryside through the hills of Martinsville, they contend with obstacles such as long, sandy bunkers and ponds with penchants for collecting golf balls. After holing out on the par-four No. 18, players can retire to the 19th Hole Grille for sandwiches, drinks, and some good-humored boasting. Golfers in need of swing practice might think about consulting with LPGA pro Jamie Haywood for some help with breaking 80, breaking 90, or breaking their windshield with one more round over 150.

Dry land fish, sponges, merkels?these are just three of the nicknames for the elusive morel mushroom, identifiable by its honeycomb-shaped tops. The annual Morel Festival celebrates the delicacy with seminars and guided hunts on the terrain around Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground. A lineup of live bands, as well as a smorgasbord of morel-laden food, completes the outdoor celebration.
Head coach Stephanie Strout's gymnastics career spans 34 years. In that time, she has competed as a member of Ball State University's gymnastics team, coached high-school gymnastics, and judged competitions. Putting her certifications from USASF and USAG to good use, she now trains up-and-comers on The Flip Zone's competitive gymnastics team, reinforcing core values such as team spirit, discipline, and a healthy disdain for the Wright brothers, who took a coward's approach to human flight. Tots, teens, and adults hone their hand-springing skills within her 12,000-square-foot gymnastics studio. The expansive tumbler-dome houses a 40-foot trampoline, Olympic-grade equipment for men and women, and a 1,000-square-foot dance room. When she's not teaching teams, the gymnast leads recreational classes, including cheer and tae kwon do, or watch over littluns during preschool gymnastics programs, birthday parties, and open gym sessions.
We provide Martial arts to ages 3 to 70. We concentrate not only on self defense, but on important life changing skills like self discipline, respect, goal setting, giving back to the community. Our classes our structured in a way that we promote fun while learning. We also have great cardio kickboxing classes as well.
Inside each Sky Zone location, a wall-to-wall half-pipe made entirely of trampolines gives children and adults a venue where they can safely hop, bounce, and somersault to their hearts' content. The vast, taut, springy flooring doesn't end at the walls, but instead the trampolines continue upward to form angles perfect for crawling up, springing off, or sliding down. Visitors can meander along the bounceable terrain in the open trampoline arena, throw themselves into giant foam pits, or sharpen their competitive edges in trampoline-assisted sports such as dodgeball. SkyRobics classes merge gravity-defying fun with fitness during instructor-led workouts that include calisthenics, core exercises, and strength-building aerobics to help guests shed calories without hurting their joints or taking a wrong turn on a treadmill.
